Even talking to the asshole pissed me off, so I put him out of his misery, out of respect for Mila I won't kill him for coming down here to ask for money and not getting to know his daughter who was hoping for him to have changed, even though I so badly wanted to.
"I'll give you all the money you want, never show your face here, and stay out of Mila's life." I gave him the option, mostly to see what he was going to say, if he took the money I wouldn't want him around Mila or my kids anyway.
He doesn't waste a second. "Okay."
My fist clenched at my side. "Now get the fuck out." He nods quickly as he leaves, I turn around my eyes scanning the room for Mila.
She hides down under the table as she throws back a glass of champagne, I walk over and raise my brow as she puts the glass down, grabbing another drink. "Pace yourself," I tell her and she rolls her eyes as she chugs the drink.
"YOU pace yourself." She burped, she was drunk.
"How are you already drunk?"
"you're drunk." She says as she sips yet another drink I didn't even notice her grabbing.
"Give me that." I try to grab it but she quickly retracts her hand and chugs the drink. "Okay, that's enough let's go home."
"No wait!" She says as I grab the cup out of her hand tossing it. "You're rude."
"You're drunk. Let's go home," I try to grab her but she steps away from me.
"You go home." She frowns.
"You're acting like a child Mila."
"You're-" I cover her mouth with my hand.
"Let's go." She pushes her tongue out of her mouth and licks my palm, expecting me to pull away, i smirk at that. "That tongue has tasted way more, nice try though."
When I pull my hand away she glares at me before she looks like she just came up with a great idea, she stares at something behind me, back at me, and back behind me, she smirks at that causing me to crane my neck at what she's looking at.
Sergio.
"Fucking test me." I press.
She shrugs and tries to make her way over to him when I slide my arms over her thighs just below her ass, throwing her over my shoulder as I walk us out of the venue.
People stare as she fights against me, pounding her fists into my back. "Let go of me!" She shouts.
When I make it to the car I set her into the passenger seat. "Put your seatbelt on, we're going home."
She tries to argue before shutting her mouth and putting her seatbelt on, I shut the door and walk over to the driver's side, fixing my tie.
I start the car and begin the drive home, I look over at her every once in a while, she keeps her head on the window before she finally catches my eye.
She frowns. "I'm sorry." My brows furrowed, I didn't know what she was apologizing for. "Sorry for being mean."
"You weren't being mean Mila, you were being a brat." I chuckle at that.
"Now you're being mean.." she frowns.
My lip tilted up. "I'm sorry, baby." The word slipped out so easily that I almost didn't realize I said it.
I watch as she takes off her seatbelt. "What are you doing?"
She pulls her feet over the center console and my lap. "My feet hurt, can you take them off?" She asks referring to her heels.
