Mila
It was a Saturday so I was spending some time with the kids, the whole gang was here excluding Luca, he was still MIA we got small updates of him here and there but nothing major, but Dario was trying.
I could tell it's taking a bit of a toll on Gio but he doesn't like to talk about it or show it, I hope he is okay, we're not complete without him.
Gio was expecting some company today as he had a meeting. "Homework is boring." Isa frowns as she gets frustrated with the work.
"Yeah it is, thank god I never have to do school again," Sergio says as he's sitting beside her helping her with her work.
"Lucky! I hate it!"
"School can be fun Isa, you learn a bunch of new things."
"That's not fun, that's misery." She drags as she lays her head on the table, in frustration. "Life would be so much easier without it." She says this was stressing her out causing me to chuckle.
"Don't say that, Cade likes homework," I say as I mess with Cades' hair.
"Only because he's a nerd."
"No, I'm not!" Cade shouts at his sister.
"It's not a bad thing to like school, it's a good trait," I say.
"He only likes school now because nobody messes with him anymore," I smile at that as I look at Cade.
"Is that true?" I ask and he nods. "What changed." He shrugs at that and I give him a skeptical look, he was hiding something."
Suddenly there was a knock on the door, pulling me away from the situation, as I walked over to the door I noticed Rory in the living room, she seemed quiet today... something was off about her, I'll have to check on her later.
Whoever was at the door began knocking more and ringing the doorbell. "Alright alright, I'm coming." I roll my eyes, people can be so impatient these days.
"Gio! Your company is here!" I shout up the stairs as I walk over to the door, unlocking it and opening it with a smile before it drops, now I'm confused.
It was the guy from the hotel the one who got the wrong room. "Um, Blaine?"
"Mila." He smiles.
My brows crease as he doesn't even seem to be surprised to see me. "Wrong address?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"No, I think I'm at the right place." He chuckles, his accent still very strong and seductive.
"What are you doing here?" I ask as I hear Gio walking down the stairs.
"I have some business to attend to." He says as he stretches his shoulder like it was a long drive coming here.
Gio stands behind me and opens the door wider checking who is at the door, I Crain my neck up to look at him. "Blaze." He says.
My brows furrowed at that. "Blaze? This is Blaine." I say completely confused.
"Blaine?" Gio asks.
"You're both wrong, my real name is Theo short for Theodore."
Did he lie to me?
"Always something with you isn't it?" Gio narrows his eyes.
"Hey, we're business partners now I have to come clean." Blaine.. or. Blaze... or Theo. Says.
"I'm so confused right now." That catches Gio's attention as he looks at me.
"Wait how do you two know each other?"
"We dated back in high school," Theo says with a cheeky grin.
"No, we didn't." I quickly said before Gio lost his shit, "We met at the hotel, he told me he has the wrong room and was looking for his friends."
"We would've." Gio glares at Theo as he says that.
"And why were you at that hotel?"
"I was honestly visiting someone, not a friend, but someone." He shrugs. "Can I come in now, it was a long drive and I'd like to sit, and we have some business to discuss."
Gio glares at him as he lets him inside, to a glaring Sergio and Rory. "Tough crowd." He says as he makes his way into the office with Gio.
I walk over to the two. "What's his deal?" I ask.
Rory takes a deep breath as he leaves the room, she looks at me. "That's the asshole who killed my sister." She says and I could hear the pain in her voice.
Oh shit.

"You're fucking with me," Theo says as he thought about everything I just told him, it was a lot and I'd be skeptical too.
"I don't fuck around."
"Why me? Of all people? You hate me."
"I do."
"So?"
"We might not see eye to eye, but you're loyal, we worked together once on a job in Mexico and you were able to put our differences aside for that job, I respect that." He thinks over that. "But I'm not over that shit you pulled in Brazil, and Japan."
He laughs at that for a second, despite the amount of times he fucked me over, he stepped his shit up when it really mattered. "So you're just giving everything to me, like that? I wanted an alliance, this is more than I was expecting."
"I'm taking the easy way out, it's either this or I stay and just wait to die out of it, I have a family now and I missed too much of their lives and I'm not missing anymore, I'll still be in the loop somehow, but you're gonna run it." He leans back in his seat as he thinks about it.
"And what does everyone else think about that, Rory? She'll kill me the second I give her an order." He chuckles at that, it's good he knows her abilities and how easily she can take him out, he's strong but Rory is someone even I wouldn't dare to fuck with.
"They don't like it, especially her and I don't blame her," I say and I stay quiet for a second before speaking up. "What happened with Raven?" I asked him, no one knows how she died, just that he was the one that got the blame for it. "Why'd you kill her?"
He lets out a scoff as he shakes his head, he looks up at me for a second almost as if he's debating on saying his next words. "I didn't."
My brows creased at that, now I was confused, this whole time we all thought it was him. "You didn't kill her? Then who did?" He was connected to her, they had something going on and suddenly she disappeared it wasn't a coincidence.
"Nobody did."
My brows crease deeper.
"She's still alive."
What the fuck.
