I covered my mouth in shock as I watched Lina fall into Luca's lap, the blood pooling around her and onto Luca. In one second, she went from breathing to bleeding to death, it all happened before I could see it.

Victor pulls the trigger, and Lina jumps in front of Luca.

"No.." Luca says as he clears off the table putting her body down. "What the hell did you do?!" Luca shouts at Victor who stares at his sister's bleeding body.

She ran in front of the bullet and saved Luca's life, and now she is at risk of her own.

"It was meant for you!" Victor shouts as he drops his gun, staring at his sister's bleeding body with tears in his eyes.

I feel myself begin to panic as the screaming and tears come in, but my throat closes up and I can't make a sound.

"My baby!" The mother shouts as she pushes everyone out of the way grabbing Lina by the hand, she's sobbing hysterically. "Call the doctor you idiot!" She shouts at her husband. "Call someone!"

"You have to go." Lina croaks out as she looks up at Luca who is holding her, refusing to let go, he shakes his head. "Go now," she cries as his hand is on her cheek. "They will kill you, please.." her eyes begin to shut and I begin crying as Gio pushes through everyone grabbing Luca by the shoulder, yanking him off of her.

"We have to go, now." He says as he drags Luca away, he fights but doesn't win as Gio drags him out of the house. "Let's go!" He shouts.

We leave the house as Gio pulls Luca to the car when Luca pushes his hands off of him. "Get off of me, let go!" He shouts and Gio does.

"What the fuck did I tell you? Hmm!" Gio shouts at Luca who stands there angrily.

"Fuck you."

"Watch your fucking mouth! What the hell were you thinking in there? Are you trying to get yourself killed?" Gio is pointing his finger in Luca's face. "Are you fucking stupid Luca! How many times have I told you to leave the Petrov boys alone!" I see the anger rolling off of Gio and I felt bad for Luca, but I didn't want to interfere.

"I don't give a fuck about them!" Luca shouts. "She's hurt! I have to " Luca tries to walk back in the direction of the house before Gio holds out a hand, stopping him.

"You will leave that girl alone, starting now!" Gio shouts.

"Gio..." I start.

"Do you hear me?" He asks Luca.

"Get the hell off of me you asshole!"

"Do you hear me?!" Gio shouts.

"I fucking hate you," Luca says as he pushes Gio's hand off of him and begins walking away, to who knows where Gio tries going after him but I grab his hand.

"Let him go," I tell him, I feel anger, and fear creeping into my soul, filling it up to the point that I feel like I'm about to explode.

I'm trembling all over my body as I feel my breath quickened and hot tears run down my cheeks. "He's gonna come back," I tell him.

Gio turns towards me using his thumbs to wipe the underside of my eyes as my face relaxes at his touch.

I wrap my arms around his torso seeking comfort in his arms and that's exactly what I get as he wraps his arms around me. "I know that scared you... I'm sorry." He tells me and I nod.

His hand holds my head against his chest. "Can we go home?" I ask and he nods as he helps me inside the car getting in next to me, the driver begins driving us home.
