Mila
I haven't heard from Gio since this morning when he told me, and I quote, "Be ready by 9." I told him that I wanted him to take me out on a date but I honestly didn't think he would go all out for it, I wanted a date with Gio and I wanted it to be perfect.
It might sound silly, going on our first date months after we get married, but I want to experience it at least once, if Gio is the guy I'm going to be spending the rest of my life with then that means I won't have a chance to go any other dates, so first date months after marriage it is!
Victoria has been here all day with me planning what I was going to wear, we decided on something cute and classy, but simple since I didn't know exactly what Gio would have planned, I'm sure whatever it is will be perfect in my eyes, as long as we're doing it together and having a good time.
"This shade of green is stunning on you, Mila, he's going to love it." Victoria smiles as she looks up at me wearing the dress, I can't help the smile that breaks out on my face as I look into the mirror.
and she was right, the dress was beautiful, I almost couldn't recognize myself in it, it wasn't something I would usually wear, it was a sage green lace maxi dress that tied like a corset at the back, with a classy lace shawl.
It was gorgeous, and I loved it, I didn't know exactly what we were going to do on this date but I hoped I'd be dressed for the occasion.
Victoria sat me down at the vanity and began my makeup.
The kids were out with Sergio and Dario doing god knows what, Victoria somehow convinced Dario to tag along and spend some time with them as for Serge, he needed no convincing whatsoever. He loves them very much and would love to spend time with them any day.
"All done." She says and I smile, I love it when she does my makeup because she always does it perfectly, not too much, and not too little, she does it just right.
"I love it, V, thank you." I smile at her through the mirror as she has her hands on my shoulders.
"Good because there's something I should tell you." She says and I furrowed my eyebrows, all of a sudden nervous about what she's about to tell me.
"Um, okay... what is it?"
She stares at me, almost like she's nervous about telling me her news, I look at her face and I can tell the news isn't going to be too bad. "Um... I'm leaving."
My eyes widen at that, she's WHAT.
"You're WHAT!" I shout and she chuckles at that as she gathers the makeup and begins cleaning up the mess we created.
"It's my last week working for Gio, I wanted you to find out from me." She says as she takes out a curling iron and plugs it in waiting for it to heat up. "This might be the last time I help you get ready and I'm so sad about it."
"Did Gio fire you? I'll cut his fucking balls off, what did he do?" She laughs at that and shakes her head viciously.
"No no, he didn't fire me," she chuckles. "I'm
Quitting.""Oh, why?" I ask, not knowing exactly if this is good news or bad.
"I've got a new job, the pay is less but I'll be happy there, as much as I love you and your kids I don't think I want to be working for Gio anymore." She gives me a look and I laugh at that. "He's great and all, Now, but I need to move on to something new."
I smile at her and hold my arms out and she falls into my arms hugging me back. "Well I'm so proud of you, I'll be happy with whatever you choose to do if it makes you happy," I tell her and she holds me tighter. "I will miss you around though."
