Chapter 11

Cole POV

I got up the next morning early enough to work out before Liv comes home. She sent me a text last night at 1AM saying she made it to Detroit and that she will be back in a few hours.

I stayed home and worked out in the garage. My mom and I leave our cars outside as Liv and I had set up the garage as a dance area for us. I got on the treadmill and started running before I heard my phone. I stopped running and caught my breath before I looked to see who had called me.

1 missed call from Liv.

I called her back.

"Hi," Liv said.

"Hi babygirl, did you land already?" I asked.

"Yes, I am in the back room," Liv said.

"I thought I had more time, I'm on my way," I said as I ran into the house and grabbed my keys.

"Okay, no hurry, I will see you soon," Liv said.

"I love you," I said.

"I love you too," Liv said as she hung up the phone. I got into my car and started driving towards the airport. I took my time, but also, I was in a hurry to see my girl.

I got to the airport in about a half an hour. I got out of my car and went into the building and towards the back room. I ran into Jim and Andy as they let me into the room.

"She's been waiting for you," Jim said.

I walked in as Liv got up from her seat and pulled me into a hug.

"I am glad you're back," I said.

"Same here," Liv said before she pulled me into a kiss. She pulled away faster than I would have liked but it looked like she was on a mission. "Come on, we have to go," Liv said as she grabbed her purse.

"Okay," I said. I grabbed one of her bags before we walked to my car.

Jim and Andy made a path for us and tried to block out the paparazzi as they took photos and started asking questions to Liv and I.

We put her things into my car before we got into the car. I started to drive home. I looked over at her as she checked her phone.

"So? How was it?" I asked.

Liv shrugged. "Fine," she said.

"Fine?" I asked.

"Yeah," Liv said softly.

"Are you okay? Usually you talk my ear off when you come back. Did something happen?" I asked.

"No," she said. "I just need to be with you the next few days, okay?" Liv asked.

"Okay, you're worrying me," I said.

"You will find out in about an hour," she said. I saw her reach for an old napkin on the floor as she started to cry silently.

"Okay, I am here if you need to talk, you know that right?" I asked.

"I know," Liv said.

We made it home as Liv grabbed her things and brought them to her room. She came out of her room and went over to me.

"I was working out when you called, so I haven't showered yet," I said.

"That's okay," she said as I saw the tears form in her eyes. "Can you take a quick shower and then meet me downstairs in the recording studio?" Liv asked.

"Yeah, of course," I said as I walked over to her and kissed her. "Everything is going to be okay," I said as I pulled her into my arms.

"I don't want to be alone right now," Liv said.
