Chapter 40
Liv POV
I was over at the Voice studio today, working on my audition for Miley. I was going to surprise her by singing, "You'll Always Find Your Way Back Home," by Hannah Montana, from the Hannah Montana Movie.
I had Cole dancing with me, along with David. I was even able to get Derek Hough to help out as well with Sharna Burgess.
The plan was simple. I was going to start the song from the dressing room. I was going to wake up on the couch and look out the window to see that it was raining. Sharna is going to run in with a clock to see that I'm late. I am going to grab a bag and then run out of my dressing room. David and Cole were going to meet me outside my dressing room as we will start to run for a second before Cole and David do a quick lift with me, before I turn to Cole. He will pull me close to him as we will do a quick dance ballroom dance with each other.
The lights will go down for a second as I sing to the camera, before Cole will take my hand and lead me onto the stage.
More dancers will come out as we jam out to the chorus and make it into a giant dance number. We are hoping Miley will turn around by then if not, there is a plan in place for that.
The second verse, Olivia Holt will come over to me as I sing the next part. David and Cole will come over to us and spin us around before I take her hand and drag her near the judges and sing towards them for a minute.
I will run back to my dancers as we will get back into the dance before I bring it home with the bridge. I will be hanging out with Cole during most of the performance. He told me he would help me, and he is willing to be on stage with me.
I really hope Miley turns around during the performance, and I hope I do the song justice. Taylor Swift wrote the song for her, and it is one of my favorites. I just hope she likes it, and then after that is done, I will tell her that I will be helping her with her new record.
I was wearing a purple and black flannel, with jeans, and my short black boots. My hair was in a loose braid that I was going to take out halfway through the performance. My makeup was done natural.
"Woah."
I turned around in my chair and saw Cole at the door. He was wearing jeans and blue flannel, with cowboy boots. I smiled.
"You look beautiful," he said.
"Thank you, are you ready?" I asked. Cole nodded his head.
"Thanks for letting me do this with you," he said.
"No problem, I came to you with the idea, and you helped me find the right song," I said. I got up and walked over to the couch. "What should the plan be if Miley doesn't turn her chair?" I asked.
Cole sat down beside me. "Somewhere in the song run over and press the button yourself," Cole said with a shrug. I nodded my head. I looked over at him and I could tell something was up.
"Are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah, I'm excited about the performance with you," Cole said. I looked at him and crossed my arms. Cole sighed.
"Brooke is mad that you asked me to perform with you and not her," Cole said. I rolled my eyes.
"I would've but-"
"Rumors, and half your fans don't like her, and we're in this giant dilemma," Cole said cutting me off.
"Yeah," I said. "Can I just say, you've been fighting with her more often, are you sure everything is, okay?" I asked.
