Liv POV

That night I didn't sleep much. I was awake crying and holding onto Cole. I didn't know what to except from the surgery at all. I was hoping Dr. Olsen knew what he was doing and that he would fix me up so I can see again.

Grandma Cathy and Grandma Norma were in my room, as I stayed with Cole in his room. Grandma Cathy and Grandma Norma know that Cole and I are married. This happened a few months ago. I was on tour, when I got a phone call from Theresa.

Liv POV

I was in my hotel room, doing some homework when my phone started ringing. I saw it was Theresa and picked up the phone.

"Hey Theresa, look nows-" I started to say before she cut me off.

"Liv, has Cole talked to you recently?" She asked.

"We talked this morning briefly; look I have some wor-" I started to say before she cut me off again.

"My dad, and Scott's dad is in the hospital, and they might not make it through the weekend," Theresa said. My eyes went wide.

"Theresa, I am so sorry," I said.

"I know this is a long shot, but is there any chance you could come to Dallas for a few days and be here for Cole?" Theresa asked.

I got up from the bed and started packing my bags. "I am packing my bags, I will let Nikki know what's going on, and I will be there as soon as I can," I said.

Cole POV

I was at the hospital with Kylee as my parents were in the room with my grandparents.

"Are you okay?" Kylee asked.

"I will be," I said.

"Did you tell Liv?" Kylee asked. I shook my head.

"She doesn't need to be here, it will just cause rumors if she shows up here," I said.

"She is family, Cole," Kylee said.

"I know, I will call her when I have some answers," I said.

"You should at least let her know," Kylee said. "Does Brooke know what's going on?" She asked. I nodded my head.

"I was with her when Mom called and told me what was happening," I said.

"Have you and Liv talked recently? I know you two are talking from time to time, but is there any hope for you two?" Kylee asked.

I sighed. "I don't know," I said.

"Cole?"

I looked up and saw Liv walking into the waiting room.

"Liv," I said getting up. Liv ran into my arms as I held her.

"I'm so sorry about what's going on," Liv said.

"Who told you what was going on? I was going to call you later," I said backing out of the hug.

"Your mom called me," Liv said. "She said you might need me," she added.

"Okay," I said. Liv let go of my hand and took a seat next to Kylee.

"I was just about to call you and tell you what was going on, granted I probably would've said, Cole was in the hospital," Kylee said. I shook my head.

"Kylee," I said.

"I am here now, that's what matters," Liv said. I nodded my head. My mom walked out of my grandfather's room and looked over at Liv.
