Chapter 24
Cole POV
The next couple of days were rough. Liv and I didn't really talk to each other, only when we had to. We weren't even kissing each other only cheek kisses now.
We just got back to our hotel after a morning of sightseeing and shopping. Liv was with Nikki in the other room as I got a facetime call from Marcus.
"Hey bro," I said.
"Hey, how are you doing?" Marcus asked.
"I've been better," I said.
"Sad to be saying goodbye to IM5?" Marcus asked.
"Yeah, and other things," I said.
"What else is going on? Besides you not wishing me a happy birthday last week," Marcus said. "Your wife is usually on top of things," he said.
I rolled my eyes. "Did she not wish you a happy birthday either?" I asked. Marcus looked at me.
"Are you two fighting?" Marcus asked. I nodded my head.
"Well, not quite fighting, we broke up," I said.
I saw Marcus' eyes go wide. "What? Since when?" He asked. I shrugged.
"Few days ago, but we've been fighting for about a month now," I said.
"What happened? Last I knew you both were happy," Marcus said.
"She has changed," I said. "She is writing more sexy songs and trying to write another "Breakaway," album because that is what everyone else did for their third album, so she's trying to keep up with the pattern," I said.
"Sounds like your jealous of her," Marcus said.
"I am not jealous of her!" I said.
"Cole, you've been with her for the past four years, and she has made you the happiest I have ever seen. She is your other half, you have to win her back," Marcus said. I shook my head.
"I'm the one that ended it," I said before I got up and walked around the room. "She called a break when we were fighting over One Direction's new song, and her new song she wrote which was very sexy coming from Liv. I told her not to record the song without me, or better yet, don't put it on your album, and she thought I was controlling her which lead to her sleeping in her own room for the night, then the next day I went to talk to her about it and we started arguing and one thing lead to another and she called a break," I said.
"Oh wow," Marcus said.
"There's more," I said. "She told me I hurt her feelings because she is struggling writing her third album, she has songs done, but they aren't Liv's type of music. I just don't want her to change who she is, but she's changed. She's not the same girl I fell for," I said.
"You can still win her back," Marcus said.
"I was hoping to the other night," I said. "After the last show we went out to celebrate and I saw Liv by herself, so I went over to talk to her, and we just got back on the same topic, and I had to end it with her. I was waiting for her to end it with me, but I had to do it," I said.
"Did she see it coming?" Marcus asked. I shook my head.
"Apparently not, Kylee went to talk to her because I made her cry and she went into the bathroom," I said.
"Do you still love her?" Marcus asked. I shrugged.
"I don't know," I said.
"Cole, you do know she has no one right now. She lost her dad when she was younger and lost her mom a few years ago. You are her husband, and you just made her feel like shit right now," Marcus said.
