Chapter 38

Liv POV

I walked through the building and found Simon Fuller right away.

"Liv," Simon said.

"Simon," I said giving him a hug.

"Are you excited about letting everyone know you are the mentor this year with Demi?" Simon asked. I nodded my head. "Let's have you meet the contestants," he said.

We walked over towards the auditorium as we heard Ryan Seacrest giving my introduction.

"Everyone please give a warm round of applause to teen popstar sensation, Liv Stevenson!" Ryan said before I walked through the door.

"OH My Gosh!" I heard throughout the crowd. I smiled as I walked over to Ryan with Simon.

"Hi everyone, I am excited about working with ya'll and helping you through this competition," I said as I spotted Dalton nearby. I sent him a smile as he returned the smile.

Simon Fuller walked up behind me. "Liv, do you want to tell them what you did during auditions?" Simon asked.

"Oh yeah, so there was this girl named Jessica, and Jessica was a cover name, it was really me. So, if you ever talked to a Jessica, who was trying to help you with your confidence, or your state presents, it was really me," I said as crowd cheered.

"Liv will be with us now until the finale," Simon said. "So today, you all will have some time to talk with Liv, and go over some songs with her," Simon said.

I went into the room as they had a piano and a guitar along with a table and chairs with some paper and pens. I went over to the couch and put my bag down before they started to send in the contestants.

I was meeting with close to forty people and they were recording hoping to use some of the footage for the show. I had just met with the tenth person before Nikki ran over to me.

"Dalton is next," she said. I smiled.

"Okay, we need to do an interview before I meet this person," I said sitting down on the couch.

"Okay?" The producer said. "We are rolling," he said as the camera zoomed in on me.

"This next person I am going to meet is someone that I have known for the past four years. He was in a boyband that I was managing for a while and had been featured on Cole and I's YouTube channel, along with a song I wrote about him. His name is Dalton Rappatoni," I said before the door opened.

"Hey, I'm Dalton," Dalton said walking over to me. He put his hand out as I smiled.

"Hey Dalton," I said getting up. I shook his hand before I pulled him into a hug.

"I thought you didn't like hugs?" He asked.

"I don't," I said pulling away. "But I just told them how I was your manager, and how you've been on Cole and I's YouTube channel," I said with a laugh.

"Of course, you would say that," Dalton said rolling his eyes.

"Have a seat," I said sitting down. He sat down nearby. "So, how have you been?" I asked.

"Good, excited," he said.

"That's good, so I saw your audition tape and wow, you did amazing, thanks to me," I said. Dalton laughed.

"You know I am a vocal coach at School of Rock, right?" He asked. I nodded my head.

"I saw your interview," I said. "But I did help you a bit, didn't I?" I asked.
