Chapter 17

Liv POV

I was having an amazing time on tour so far. The fans were singing the songs, and having the time of their lives.

I was in Little Rock, Arkansas, meeting up with Simon Fuller, from American Idol, also one of the guys that helped put together IM5.

"Liv Stevenson, so good to see you again," Simon said as he walked over to me.

"Good to see you too," I said giving him a quick hug.

"I was surprised to see you wanted to mentor the final year of American Idol," Simon said. I shrugged.

"I watched the show from time to time when I was little, I saw Jordan Sparks win and my mom is a fan of Paula Abdul, and I really like her music as well, so yeah," I said.

"Well, we are honored to have you here, we haven't said a word that you are our mentor this season," Simon said as we walked towards the building.

"That's good, I haven't even told Cole yet," I said.

"How long have you guys been together?" He asked.

"Four years," I said with a smile.

"You might want to tell him soon," Simon said. I nodded my head. "How are the rest of the guys?" He asked.

"Cole, Dana and Gabe are what is left of IM5, Dalton left March of 2014, and then David joined May of 2014 then left in October of 2014, then Will left in December of 2014, so yeah," I said as we made it to my dressing room.

"Oh wow, you must have your hands tied," he said. I nodded my head.

"So the plan is to have me just peptalk the contestants, and just help get their nerves down before they perform in front of Jennifer, Harry, and Keith?" I asked.

"Yes, that is the plan," Simon said. I nodded my head as I grabbed the dark brown wig.

"Let's do this," I said.

I changed my clothes into more casual than normal, I was wearing a grey t-shirt that said, "Be Kind," with a yellow cardigan. I had on jeans and my black combat boots. I had a heart shaped necklace saying, "I love me," with heart shaped earrings. I put on a dark brown wig, along with a jean fabric hat on my head. I left my watch and my ring in their respected spots. Caroline and Jasmine did my makeup natural.

"You look amazing," Nikki said looking at me.

"That's good. Do I look anything like myself?" I asked. Nikki shook her head. She grabbed the paper and stuck it on my stomach.

"Let's do this," I said. I walked out of the room with my guitar. I looked around the room and saw many different musicians around. I sat down next to one and just started with hello. We had a decent conversation as I helped the young woman relax her nerves. I talked with her until her number was called for the audition. I walked away and looked for another person I could talk to.

I walked over to the other side of the room as I passed a man with light blonde hair, blue eyes, wearing a "My Chemical Romance," t-shirt with a black rocker jacket, black jeans with a chain, and dark black boots. I turned around and gasped.

"Oh my gosh," I said. I ran towards my dressing room as Nikki followed.

"What?" She asked.

"Dalton Rapattoni is here," I said.

"IM5?" She asked. I nodded my head as I took a deep breath.

"I haven't heard from him in years," I said.
