Chapter 43

Liv POV

The next morning, I woke up alone in my own bed. I grabbed my phone from nearby and checked a few messages before I got up and changed my clothes. I walked out of my room and into the kitchen. Scott, Theresa and Kylee were out there, along with Onyx.

Scott was on his phone. Kylee was looking at something on her laptop, and Theresa was in the kitchen cooking.

"Good morning, Liv," Theresa said.

"Morning," I said. "Tonight is American Idol and I am excited but also worried about it," I said.

"Isn't Dalton on the show?" Kylee asked. I nodded my head.

My eyes went wide for a second. I am married to Cole, but still dating Dalton. "Oh shit," I whispered. Kylee looked over at me.

"What?" She asked.

I took her hand and led her into my room. "I am still with Dalton! He doesn't know that Cole and I eloped," I said.

"What the heck? I made a big deal about Cole still being with Brooke and you are still with Dalton?" Kylee asked.

"I can't end things with Dalton when the finale is tonight! It's going to crush him!" I said.

"Okay, relax, just tell Cole, and I'm sure he will understand," Kylee said.

"I don't want to make it a big deal, I was just so caught up with being back with Cole, I forgot about Dalton," I said as I sat down on my bed.

"Didn't you tell me that Dalton will understand if you and Cole got back together?" Kylee asked. I nodded my head. "Just talk to Dalton and talk to Cole. They will understand what you did, and how to help you," Kylee said.

"Dalton and Cole haven't talked in years, ever since Dalton left IM5," I said.

"Olivia, relax," Kylee said. "You can do this."

Kylee left the room as I stayed in my room for a little bit longer until I heard Cole's voice.

"Liv?" Cole asked before he looked into my room. "What are you doing in here? Did you sleep here last night?" Cole asked walking into my room. He sat down beside me. "Have you been crying?" Cole asked.

"One question at a time," I said rolling my eyes. Cole nodded his head.

"Are you okay?" He asked. I shrugged.

"I need to tell you something, but I am not ready just yet," I said.

"That's okay, take your time, tell me when you are ready," Cole said.

I nodded my head. "I stayed in my room last night; I didn't want to rush things ya know?" I asked. Cole nodded his head.

"That's okay, whenever you are ready to join me that's fine, we did say we were going to take it slow," Cole said. I looked at him. "After we signed the papers, we agreed to that," Cole said. I nodded my head.

"I just need some time before we jump into everything," I said.

"I understand, I just don't know how slow you want to go, like do you want the all-day texting again? We go out as different people," Cole said trailing off.

"We can skip the all-day texting, unless I am traveling, and you don't want to come with me," I said. "Also, I am not ready to go public just yet, so we might as well hide in the shadows for a while," I said. Cole nodded his head.

"Can you be there for me when I sign off on these songs? They are hoping to drop the first single soon so I can get the album out by June," I said.

"Yeah, I can be there, that's if you don't give me a preview beforehand?" Cole asked with a smile. I shook my head.
