Chapter 46

NEVAEH'S POV

Today was another school day with all of the same teachers and the same students. It wasn't too grand or anything. Everything was just normal. That's really how school is, I think.

"Hey Neveah," Ratliff said running up to give me hug after I walked out.

"Get away from me," I jokingly told him.

"Fine," he fake pouted. I realized that Rocky was already talking with Tyler and we were ready to go. Rocky drove past the turn to our house and I began to grow suspicious. Where are they taking us? I finally bothered to ask.

"Where are you taking us?"

"I forgot to tell you but we're getting ice cream. Is that ok?" Rocky asked. Tyler and I looked at each other.

"Yes!" We both yelled like little kids. We finally got to the ice cream shop after forever which was actually 5 minutes. We all walked in and there were dozens of delicious looking choices. Tyler and I just simply decided on a plain vanilla cone and got a few different toppings. Rocky got a chocolate cone while Ratliff got some crazy sundae thing. Everything was great tasting overall. We got home and I suddenly remembered my outing with Kian. I went up to my room and didn't know what to wear and I looked around the house for Rydel. I eventually found her downstairs with my brothers who were playing some weird game called Halo or something. I honestly didn't care too much.

"Can you pick an outfit out for me?" I asked her.

"Anything to get me out of here," she responded getting up from the couch. She dragged me up the stairs so fast I felt dizzy! She eventually picked out some super cute outfit like she normally does. It was a pink and white floral dress, and it was knee length. I have no idea what I'd do without her. She went back downstairs as I got changed and I heard someone call my name. I ran down as fast as I could and I saw that they were still playing their video game.

"You wanted to speak with me?" I asked the boys as I had no idea which one had called me.

"Yes," Riker said pausing the game.

"Hey, I was beating you!" Rocky whined.

"We wanted to talk to Neveah. Ok, have a seat."

"Is this going to be bad?" I asked nervously.

"No, we're just trying to protect you," Ross told me.

"Look, we just want you to know since you're in this family that you can't have a boyfriend. We are always going to be your overprotective brothers."

"Ok?"

"We know you're kind of getting close to that Kian guy and---" Ryland began but Rocky shoved his hand in front of his mouth.

"We don't want you to get hurt," Riker told me.

"I hope you guys know I wouldn't date anyone anyway" I explained.

"Yeah, we just wanted to make sure. We doubted you would after... You know, but urm, glad we got this out of the way..." Riker said awkwardly.

"Ok?" I didn't have a chance to say anything because I heard a knock on the door. I immediately got up to get away from the awkward conversation and answered it. I got out of that house as soon as I opened it running into Kian barely.

"Woah, is everything alright?" Said a really cute voice.

"Yeah, I'm fine," I smiled.

"Let's go then." He smiled

Before I knew it we were walking on Venice beach together. The waves were calm and there was a slight breeze everything just seemed perfect. He had a picnic set up and everything tastes good.

"Which sandwiches do you want?" He asked.

"None, I'll take a salad" I said reaching for it.

"No no no, your not gunna get any fatter if you have a sandwich. In fact, I know where I'm taking you next time" he chuckled.

We talked about stuff and then we walked closer to the water.

"Wanna go swimming?" He asked.

"No way!"

"Why not?"

"Erm, because I'm feeling a bit sick, I don't want to my my cold worse."

"Fine, lets just get some frozen yogurt."

"That sounds good to me." We had our frozen yogurt which was better than the ice cream earlier today. We walked on the beach some more and we found some cave. It looked a bit creepy but we took a seat in front of it on a rock. Everything just seemed perfect.

"Nevaeh?" Kian said.
"Hm" I replied as we watched the waves crashed against the rocks in front of us, and the sun said goodbye.

"Thank you" he sighed putting his arm around me.

"For what?" I asked, turning to look at him.

"For a wonderful evening. I had fun" he smiled imitating my actions. I smiled back at him, and felt him lean in. I clothed my eyes, and took a deep breath, I felt myself lean in too. Suddenly I felt something in my stomach. It was a good feeling. I leaned in too and closed my eyes, as our lips touched. I smiled as we pulled away. The moment was definitely perfect now.

"Nevaeh?" I heard an angry voice yell from a distance. I jumped up to see who it was. Shit. It was...

Hey guys!

This month has been absolutely crazy. I have not slept properly for at least 5 weeks! Each day we were some where or someone was at our house! I'm probably having a sleepover at my BFF's this weekend. I can't tell you how tired I am.

There were some American students visiting our school this week. I saw them like twice, and I'm gunna be honest, they looked really funny, but their accents were sooo cute I would literally marry accents if it was possible! I'm not sure why they were here, but as we go to a girls school it was really weird seeing the boys walking around too. One of them looked like Alice from the Twilight saga.

Also, after the last wattpad update, I can't insert the pictures anymore, it's not working, so sorry about that!
