Chapter 3

Laura's POV.

I slowly opened my eyes once again as they ajusted to the darkness. It was still a white room, it's just the lights were off. Wait, what happend and why is my arm hurting? Did the docter take Injection when I had fainted? I thought to myself quietly. As though reading my thoughts Raini who was sitting next to me opposite me spoke.

"No Laura they didnt give you and injection your hand just feels a little bit weak" she explained calmly

"Are mum and dad alright?" I asked worriedly.

"About That..... your Mum has Cancer"

"WHAT!!!!!!!" I exclaimed a little louder than I needed too.

Just then the docter walked in with a bright smile in his face.

"Ok Ms. Morano you will be discharged in about 30 minutes and you can go and see your mother in the room on your right. untill then you must have a 15 nap and spend the other 15 minutes filling out some forms. we have prescribed some medicine for you which you must take regularly."

I tried not to cry but everytime I thought of mum it made me even more nervous. I bit my lip as my tears started to make my eyes go blury. Just then to my surprise Ross stood up amd helped me sit up. Then he gave me a tight hug. At that moment I felt my tears prickle down my cheeks. I couldnt hold back any longer and when Ross helped me lie down again I found it impossible to go back to sleep. After 15 minutes the doter brought me some fruits and forms. Ross and Raini offered to fill them in but Raini got a text from her mum saying she had to go home. So i gave Ross the details and he filled the forms in for me. After another 15 minutes the docter came in to let me know I was free to go and I got up amd ran into mums room as quickly as I could. There she layed motionless. It was scary, I'd never seen her like this before.

I felt tears prickle down my cheek and Vanessa came and gave me a hug then told me to get back to the auditions. Ross and I calmly drove back. We went into the same room and stood there. The room was now empty. All but one man. Ross went up to the man and asked:

"Hi we are here to audition for austin and ally"

"The times for auditioning are over come back tomorow" he said roughly. By the look on his face I could tell he was annoyed.

_________________________Next Day_____________________

I walked back jnto this familiar building and went to the auditioning room. There I saw Ross again. When he saw me motioned for me to come over. So I did and I got to the front desk.

"Who's going first?" asked the lady at the desk without turning around. Ross and I both said each others name in Unison and I felt myself go red.

"Laura you go first" I shyly nodded and walked into the room. There was a man sitting oposite me.

"Ok I need your name, DOB,adress and a few other details-unless you have filled in a form in which case we can get right to it. Have you filled out a form?" He asked. I nodded.

"You can't nod if you want this part or ally you cant be shy."

"Yes sir" i said with all the confidence i could gather.

"Right Lara? Sorry I mean Laura. Can you just read this out for me?"

He handed me a script and I scanned it quickly.

"Hey austin, whats up?! Have you seen Trish I havent seen her for ages!! She is having her sweet sixteen tomorrow and My phone broke so i cant call her!"

"Erm hey Ally I'm good and no I havent seen Trish Ill give you her number and whats wrong with you, dont ussually ask me so many questions!!" Said the director playing the part of austin.
