Chapter 25

3 DAYS LATER

TYLER'S POV

"Ty, Tyler wake up!" A familiar voice said. I opened my eyes a little and immediately shut them again. It was dark and my eyes were heavy. "Tyler!" It repeated. I opened my eyes a little and saw a figure standing there. It was a little blurry. I rubbed my eyes and I slowly sat up. It was Nevaeh.

"What's up Nev's? I asked tiredly looking at the digital clock on my right then turning back to her. It was 2:00 am. I was a tired as hell but Nevaeh being Nevaeh woke me up anyway.

"I want chips!" She exclaimed quietly.

"But it's 2:00am! I'll get some for you on the morning!" I tried to protest.

"But I'm craving chips now! I won't get any sleep!" She said. It was probably that time of month again, if she didn't get any sleep, I would have a hell of a day. I must have said that out loud...

"Yeah it is,and I will so get the hell up, let's go!" She exclaimed narrowing her eyes.

"Wait, your coming too?" I asked. She nodded.

"What about Lynn? If anything happens to her then we are gunna be kicked out!" I said, almost shouting. She quickly looked around the room then turned back to me and spoke.

"Shhhh, I made sure! I'm not an idiot!" She moaned with her finger on her lip. I hated being human sometimes. I mean yeah, I really really liked Nevaeh, so much we even 'dated', but both of us knew we were just best friends. It was a best friends type of love if you know what I mean. We only 'dated' each other because me and Nevaeh weren't the type that wanted a new relationship every few months. It was just to tell the other girls and boys that we didn't want to date them. But we were friends, we both had talked to each other about it. I didn't know how she was going to tell her family that.

"Alright, alright" I said putting my hands up innocently. One other thing the others didn't know about us...Was that we were telepathic. We could talk to each other in our minds. We didn't know how but no one knew except for Lynn. And we asked her not to tell anyone, and if it was important then we would tell them ourselves.

I got out of bed and quickly changed. Just like Nevaeh I could change in front of people without them seeing my body, it was pretty useful most of the time, and a total tease for Nevaeh.

"I'm ready" I said grabbing my wallet. I slipped it into my pocket and grabbed my coat as Nevaeh opened the door. We both snook out and walked along the hallway with both or our room key-cards. I held Nevaeh hand as we stepped into the freezing cold. I saw her shiver slightly.

"Should have got a coat Nev!!" I scolded. We walked along the road and saw a shop nearby. Well, Nevaeh saw it and pointed it out to me. It looked like it was miles away, mainly because I sleepy. I groaned as she dragged towards there.

"Wait!" I said. "I need some water" I said. Nevaeh groaned and followed me into the nearest corner shop. She didn't see the step before the door and almost tripped over. I managed to catch like I do everytime, making her twirl as though we were dancing. I had both hands on her waist as I stared into her beautiful eyes. She had both of her hands on my shoulder and she was staring into my eyes. She broke eye contact and let go of me and took a step back, giggling at me. I furrowed my eyebrows making her giggle even more. She was amazing. In every way. And I was glad she knew that. Her giggling was so contagious I couldn't hold myself for more than 30 seconds. I loved these moments with her.

We both walked into the shop and this time Nevaeh didn't trip. We walked in and I walked over to the drinks. I opened the door and grabbed a bottle of water. I took it to the counter and paid for my drink. I took a sip of water and then gave both my wallet and bottle to Nevaeh. Usually when we went shopping, Lynn would be there and we never really had time alone. The only time we had alone was when she picked me up from my school and we both walked home before going to collect Lynn. Those days were gone and we had both been adopted.
