My head was resting on Cece's lap as the tears continuously flowed from my eyes.
“Hush Shay...doh cry,”said Cece comfortingly.
“Mi think e would a change but e only get worse...jah know,”i said sitting up.
“Wish yuh neva get involve inna dah situation yah but yah fi go tell him seh yuh pregnant one way or another,”
“Mi nah tell him nutting...mi no want him nor e likkle crawsis gyal affect mi pickney life,”I said.
“Shay mi know unuh ago work e out...unuh always get back together,”
“Mi serious this yah time yah...no joke,”i said folding my arms knowing damn well that there was a 90% chance she was telling the truth.
My phone started ringing and when I took it up I saw that Leo was calling,probably trying to get me to forgive Geo. I hate the fact that he always chooses to take Geo's side every time.
I declined the call and put my phone on do not disturb. About six minutes later,Cece's phone started ringing.
“Jayme a call,”she said answering the call.
It was quiet for awhile,as Cece listened to what Jayme was saying and the expression that presented itself on her face got me worried.
She looked like she had seen a ghost.
“A wah?!”i asked both confused and anxious.
“Yuh fadda get shot,”she said and I don't think words can describe how I felt.
I just sat there feeling lost, a million emotions mixed together.
“Shay!...say sumn,”said Cece,her voice sounded blurred.
My head was feeling dizzy and the last thing I saw was a panicked look on her face as my head hit the pillow.

I woke up,shocked my head still feeling a bit dizzy.
Cece was right beside me a worried look on her face,a bottle of alcohol in her hand.
“How yuh feel?...yuh alright,”she asked and I nodded as I sat up in her bed.
It was at that moment that I realised that I wasn't the only one in the room,Geo was sitting in a chair not too far from the bed and he looked worried sick.
“Why the fuvk e deh yahso,”i whispered.
“E neva wah leave...so mi just mek e stay,”said Cece innocently.
He got up from out of the chair and Cece immediately said she was going to the hospital with Jayme.
“Wait!...mi wah come wid yuh,”i said.
“Shay yuh cyah go deh tonight...yuh need rest,”said Geo and I pretended as if I didn't hear him getting up out of the bed.
He grabbed me and placed me back on the bed,standing in my way.
“Why the fuvk yuh no come out a mi way...yuh cyah come out a mi life man,”i said folding my arms.
“Shay...Leo send mi yahso fi look afta yuh e deh a the hospital already yuh nah fi worry bout nutting, ”he said and I hissed my teeth.
Cece shrugged and left giving me a small smile.
“Mi soon come back,”she said before leaving.
After she left I got up from off the bed to get my phone that was on the table.
“Weh yah go?”he asked.
“Mi a go fi mi phone..chro,”i said hissing my teeth as I took up my phone and sat back on the edge of the bed.
He sighed and went back to sit in the chair,resting his head in his hands. Damn e look stress out nuh fuvk.
I dialed Leo's number and it went to voicemail twice. He finally answered the phone after the third try and somehow I wish I had never called.
“Leo weh dem seh..daddy alright?”
“Shay mi cyah...”his voice trailed off and it sounded as if he was crying.
“Leo answer mi!” I said.
Finally,someone answered me it was Cece.
“Shay yuh fadda no mek it,”she said.
The phone dropped out of my hand and I felt zoned out,the entire world seemed to shut down.
Geo was right beside me now and as soon as he asked if I was okay, I burst out crying. Crying so hard I could hardly breathe as I buried my face in his chest as he hugged me.
My life was in pieces at the moment,I was not even sure if I wanted Geo apart of my child's life and now my dad was dead,the only person that kept me from having a mental breakdown ever since my mom died 15 years ago,now dat he was gone all the memories of the day my mom died plus all this made me overwhelmed and I totally lost it.
Crying my heart out in front of Geo,I started to tell him everything that I have kept from people,all my emotions.
I just couldn't hold back anymore,I told him everything even the fact that I was pregnant and I didn't want him to be apart of the baby's life because of his situation with Ali.
I wasn't too sure of how he reacted to that,all I remembered was five minutes later when I was finally done talking.
My heart felt a little bit lighter,getting all of this off my chest really helped.
I sighed, taking a deep breath as I wiped my tears and rested my head on the pillow.
Geo just sat there, I think he was still trying to process all that I have told him awhile ago and trust me it was A LOT.
With tears still in my eyes, I felt my self drifting off to sleep,something I really needed after all that had happened today.

My hand was wrapped around Shay's waist,her head resting on my chest.
I immediately remembered the events of last night, I still can't believe Shay is pregnant,there is an unusual excitement inside me,probably because there is still a chance I'll be in Shay's life or the fact that I'm going to be a father.
Thinking about it,I also remembered that Ali was pregnant too and trust mi...mi no want nutting weh happen between we affect mi and Shay pickney life.
I kissed her on her cheek. The excitement of starting a family with Shay was unable to be described in words.
The sound of sirens was heard outside. A wah a happen outside.
Shay was awoken by the noise and we both got up and went downstairs. The police were the talking with Cece and when they saw me,they stopped talking.
“A wah happen?”i asked as one of them held my hand behind me putting the cuffs on.
“Yuh under arrest fi the murder of Nigel Smith,” and he shoved me towards the door.
“Wait...wah!”said Shat following behind.
“Ma'am please stay back,”warned the man.
“Yo...weh the fuvk unuh a talk bout why mi would a kill mi omn fadda!”i said as he put me into the car.
“Geo!...weh him do?!”said Shay but the man told her to step back and drove off.
