My life has never been the same after Jamaal was born. I felt like a more responsible person and I now knew the importance of being a mother.
At this point mi really miss mi parents dem bad bad.
Geo has been there with me through it all though. He had changed a lot too,he was now prioritizing our family above everything else.
When Jamaal got his 6 weeks injections...jah jah we couldn't sleep. Mi feel like mi head did ago chip tpc.
Sitting in the bed with my head resting on my knee,I watched as Geo walked around with the baby,hushing him to sleep.
It hasn't been easy at all,but it was our responsibility.
I snapped out of my thoughts,as Cece entered the room.
"Bestieeee how yuh so zone out,"she said.
"Just a medz sumn,"i said smiling.
"Oye mek sure yuh nah plan fi run weh before e wedding start eno...Geo would a must mad, "she said dramatically as she took Jamaal from me.
Mi no know...yuh think mi a wife material?"i asked as a lady fixed my hair.
"Ofcourse...perfect wife material fi Geo,"she smirked and I laughed.
"Where is the bride?"said Geo's mom coming into the room.
I got up out of the chair and she embraced me.
"Geo dem come already?"i asked.
"Yeah...long time before we come,"she said.
"Yuh nah go put on yuh dress?"asked Cece and I nodded.
I went into the dressing room and fitted on the dress,yuh fi see mi a struggle fi put on e sumn...lol.
I stepped out of the dressing room and Cece and the others facial expression surprised me.
"Oh my gosh....yuh look amazing,"said Cece.
"Yuh look good fi real...wow,"said Geo's mom speechless.
There was a knock at the door as Geo's cousin fixed my veil.
"A who dat now?"said Geo's mom as she opened the door.
I was shocked when she opened the door.
"Kelly!"i screamed running toward her and giving her a big hug.
"Mrs Wright....yuh did miss mi,"she said squeezing me gently. .
"How yuh neva tell mi yuh did a come,"i said almost crying.
"E would a spoil e surprise of course,"she said as she gave Cece a hug.
