I stare at myself in the bathroom mirror, and I smile. I did my hair and put half of it in a clip, I was wearing a tight full-sleeve shirt and some low-rise jeans. I felt pretty. Chris was coming to pick me up in a few minutes, I was so excited to see him.

I walk out of the bathroom with a smile on my face.

"What are you all dressed up for?" I hear Brooke's voice.

I look up and see her standing outside of her bedroom, frowning at me.

"Uh, I'm gonna hang out with my friend." I tell her.

"Which friend?" She asks.

"You don't know them." I say.

She frowns as she walks closer to me, "Is it a guy?" She asks.

"No." I lie.

"Are you lying?" She smirks.

"It's no one, Brooke." I tell her.

"Fine, don't tell me. But I'll find out." She says.

"Whatever." I roll my eyes.

I hope she never finds out, I mean I'm not going on a date with Chris. We're just hanging out as friends. Just friends. So why wasn't I telling Brooke that?

My phone goes off and I see Chris text me, saying he was here.

"Okay, I'm going." I say.

"Have fun." She says before she walks back to her room.

I walk out the door and run downstairs, I walk out the building and smile when I see Chris waiting in his car. I run up to it and get in.

"Hey, buttercup." He says.

"Hi, and don't call me that." I say.

"Why? It's fun." He smiles.

I laugh and shake my head before putting my seatbelt on.

"Ready?" He asks.

I nod, "Where are we going?" I ask.

"You'll see." He says as he pulls out of the parking lot.

We drive for a few minutes before we pull up to the art museum. I feel my heart race, he brought me to an art museum.

"Oh my god." I say as we park.

He laughs as I quickly get out of the car.

"Oh my god!" I cheer in excitement as I look up at the building.

"You excited?" He asks.

"Hell yeah." I smile at him.

"Last one to the front doors is a rotten fish." He says before he goes running towards the building.

I laugh before I run after him, I finally get up to the front doors and see him standing there, proudly.

"You're a rotten fish." He laughs at me.

"You got a head start." I say.

"Are you accusing me of cheating? I would never do such a thing." He gasps, dramatically.

I roll my eyes before walking past him and into the museum. I looked around in shock, it was huge. It had a hollow ceiling, it was calm, it wasn't so hectic. I loved it. There was light piano music playing in the background, people were walking around enjoying the art work displayed on the wall.
