I've never been upset over a girl, I've never missed a girl the way I miss Dakota. I wanted to hang out with her, I wanted to stop by the bookstore. I knew we were friends still but I didn't want to dig a deeper hole if Ryder was back. It was obvious that there was something going on between them, I saw the way she looked at him the first time in the grocery store. I just wish I met her sooner, so I could've changed the outcome.
I scroll through her Instagram as I lay in bed, god, I was dying here. I hear a knock on my bedroom door before it opens to reveal Jake and Garrett.
"Yo." Garrett says as he walks over to my bed and jumps on it.
He lays on his stomach as he looks at me.
"What are you up to?" Jake asks as he sits at my desk chair and spins in circles.
"I was dreaming about fish taking over the world." I say.
Garrett frowns at me and I chuckle.
"We're bored." Jake says.
"Aw, are the girlfriends busy?" I mock.
"Shut up, at least we have one." Garrett says.
"I don't do relationships." I say.
"That's what Garrett used to say and now look." Jake says.
Garrett groans as he stuffs his face into my sheets, "I miss Tay-Tay, she's always at work." he complains.
"I miss Lily." Jake groans.
I sigh, "You guys are whipped." I say.
Garrett flips me off, making me chuckle.
"Where's Brennen at?" I ask.
"He's locked up in his room, doing god knows what." Jake says.
"I think him and Jules are fucking." Garrett says.
Me and Jake frown at him, "How do you know?" I ask.
"Dude, I swear, me and Taylor keep hearing some strange noises from his room in the middle of the night." Garrett explains.
"How do you know it's Jules?" Jake asks.
"We heard her voice, we thought it was another secret chick but then we heard him moan her name." He tells us.
I laugh, "Go, Brennen." I say.
Maybe he was finally over Taylor. Thank god, dude was trying to kill himself by still being in love with her.
"Yeah, but he keeps waking us up in the middle of the night." Garrett complains.
"Like you and Taylor never do that." Jake says.
"It's not me, it's Taylor, dude. I really know how to please her." He winks at his friend.
"Gross." I say.
"Shut up, you always talk about your hookups." Garrett says.
"Do not." I say.
"Dude, you literally told us that you might have an STD once." Jake laughs.
"That was a joke." I defend myself.
"Sure, it was." Garrett jokes.
I roll my eyes at him, "Whatever, you guys are just haters." I say.
"Wait, you haven't talked about any of your chicks in a minute." Jake says.
"Yeah, did you get one of them pregnant?" Garrett asks.
