"What if your sister hates me?" Dakota asks as we pull up to my sister's house.
"She won't. Trust me." I say.
"What if your parents hate me?" She asks.
I chuckle, "Relax, they'll love you." I say as I look over at her.
She sighs as she looks at me.
"At least Olivia likes me." She says.
"And me." I say.
"You don't count." She says.
"Why not?" I ask.
"You just don't count in this situation." She shrugs.
I laugh and shake my head, "Come on, baby." I say as we get out of the car.
I take her hand into mine and we walk up to the front door and I ring the bell.
"What if I throw up all over you right now?" She asks.
"Well, I'd be kind of grossed out. But then I'd get over it." I smile.
She sighs before the door opens to reveal Jess.
"Hey, Jess." I say.
"Oh my god! You must be Dakota!" She cheers before she embraces my girlfriend.
I chuckle as I watch Dakota's confused face as she hugs my sister.
"Uh, yes." She says as they pull apart.
"Chris has told me so much about you." Jess says.
"He has?" Dakota says.
"Jess, please shut up." I say.
Jess laughs, "Come on." she says as she grabs Dakota's hand and leads her inside.
I follow behind them and we all walk into the living room where the rest of my family was.
"Hi!!" my mom says as she runs up to my girlfriend.
Everyone greets Dakota and hugs her and I smile as I watch them.
"Uncle Chris!!!!" I hear Olivia yell.
I turn around and see her run up to me.
"Olivia!" I cheer as I pick her up and spin her in a circle.
"I missed you." She says as she hugs me.
"Aw, I missed you more." I say as I hold her.
I look over at Dakota and see my mom holding her face in her hands.
"You are just gorgeous, how did my son manage to get you as his girlfriend?" She asks.
"Uh." Dakota stutters.
"Alright, Mom. You're scaring her." I say as I hold Olivia against my waist.
"Nonsense, she loves me." She says as she throws her arm over Dakota's shoulder.
Dakota laughs as she looks at me.
"Dakota!" Olivia yells as she reaches her arms out to her.
"Hi, Olivia." Dakota says as she takes Olivia from me.
"I'm so glad Chris bought you over, now I can show you all my toys." Olivia says.
"I'm so excited." Dakota smiles at her.
