We run up to Ryder's car and Chris quickly unlocks it before he gets into the driver seat and I get into the passenger seat. Garrett laughs as he and Taylor jump into the back.
"Hurry, get the stuff." Chris tells Garrett.
Garrett unzips his huge duffel bag. I looked around us, making sure no one could see us. I look back and watch him pull out the snake that Chris put in my bed.
Garrett laughs as he puts it in Taylor's face.
"Garrett, stop!" She yells.
He laughs and looks down at Burt.
"You're so cute." He says.
Taylor gives him a dirty look as he hugs the snake.
"Okay, just leave it in the backseat." I say.
"Wait, why don't we take Burt for a spin in this nice BMW?" Chris smirks.
"No." Me and Taylor say.
"Fuck yeah." Garrett says.
Chris laughs before he starts up the car.
"Chris, we're gonna get arrested!" Taylor yells at him as he speeds out of the parking lot.
I hold my breath before I put my seatbelt on. He speeds down the back roads as he opens up the windows.
"Chris, turn around!" I yell at him.
"Woooooo!!!" Garrett cheers.
He drives to Scott Road and I look over at him and see him smirking.
"Don't." I warn him.
"Everyone hold on tight!" He yells.
"Go!" Garrett yells.
Chris hits the acceleration and we go flying down the hilly road. Me and Taylor squeal, I grip onto the car door, I thought I was about to fly out the fucking window.
"Bro! I love this car!" Garrett cheers.
"Garrett! Get that stupid snake off me!" Taylor screams.
Chris and Garrett laugh hysterically.
I glare at Chris and he sighs before he slows the car down.
"No, don't slow down." Garrett wines.
"Shut up." Taylor says as she slaps her boyfriend in the back of the head.
I sigh in relief as we drive the speed limit.
"I think I just saw my life flash before my eyes." Taylor says.
"Same." I say.
"You guys are party poopers." Chris says.
"For real." Garrett says.
"Well, we don't want to end up in jail." Taylor says.
"Burt's mad at you, he was having so much fun." Garrett says.
"I'll take Burt and shove him up your ass." Taylor says.
I laugh at her as she glares at Garrett.
"That's animal abuse." Garrett says.
We finally get back to the bar and Chris parks in the same spot. I watch Garrett place Burt on the floor in the back and give him a little pat on the head.
"How are you gonna get your snake back?" I ask Chris.
"It's not mine." Chris smiles.
"What?" Taylor asks.
