Chapter 22: Capture The Flag

Week 6
Currently, there is a competition in the school between the houses. This chapter (well this part of the chapter) will have not a lot of point of views. They are playing capture the flag, each house has hidden the flag in their meeting space. Once all flags are captured, they'll tally which house got the most flags and whoever that might be will win.

At Freeman
Lacy was taking charge. "Alright everyone, we're down a few players today but I need everyone on their game. Aina and i will be on defense. but we don't give away where we've hidden the flag. Only defend where the flag is if they know where it is. Atlas, you will try and steal Beethoven's flag, Cloud, you will try and steal Cook's flag!" "But that's the house Zane's in." Cloud complained. "So? Who cares who's in these houses, this is a game! Anyway Millie, I want you to spy and get info on ever house you can." Lacy told everyone their positions.

At Beethoven.
Leo was finally taking charge for once, although he was much more used to taking orders from Cosmo. "Alright everyone, Amber, Blueberry and I will defend, Cosmo, Emerald, Mishka and Glitter, you 4 negotiate who you'll all try to steal a flag from. And, Skye, you'll be a spy." Leo kept assigning the roles.

At Cook (game has begun.)
Paisley, Bailey, Cindy and Stewart were stationed in the library, ready to defend the yellow flag. They waited for enemy forces to come. The library doors bursted open. Attackers, Cloud, Cosmo, Nancy and Flossie. 2 dogs, 2 cats. Paisley defended off Cloud and Cindy fended off Nancy. Bailey was fending off Cosmo while Stewart was doing fine with Flossie. There was no fighting just pushing, blocking and outrunning. "Bailey! Defend the flag! We've got this covered." Paisley shouted to him. He left his post to defend the flag, which was on one of the shelves on the highest one. Paisley shouldn't have let Bailey leave his post and told where to go, Cosmo was going for it. He tried to follow Bailey but then Paisley went and stopped him, while Cloud was left alone. Cloud went the other way. Once Paisley noticed Cloud had disappeared, "Cindy! Patrol the shelves, look out for Cloud!!" Cindy left her post and it was only up to Paisley and Stewart to fend off Cosmo, Flossie and Nancy. But forget about that, let's see what Cloud was doing. Cloud remained stealthy and ready. She seemed pretty safe. She had to now face Bailey, wherever he was. She spotted him, she crept up on him and pounced. "AGH! I can't believe a Pomeranian tackled me!" He cried. Cloud took the flag back to Lacy. "Yes! Good job Cloud!" She said to her

At Darwin
Akira and Artemis were ready, no one was going to get their flags, or so they thought. Duke, Mishka and Coco bursted into the Orchestra/Band room. They had hidden the flag behind a drum kit. "Sorry guys, but that flag is mine. Cook for the win!" Coco said. Coco was about to charge but Duke tripped her. "Uh no you don't. Do you know why we're called Einstein? Because we're not only the best, we're the smartest." He said to her. "Well you're orange. What kind of color is that?" Mishka said to him. "Well guess what dog's name that I don't know, white's not even a color." No one from Freeman was competing for the Darwin flag. That's good, Freeman and Darwin have an alliance. "Akira, I'll fend off Duke and Mishka, all you gotta worry about is Coco." Akira looked at Artemis weirdly, Akira's the house captain not her but she forgot about it and continued. But Duke thought otherwise. He went straight for Akira but wasn't quite successful, this gave time for Coco to look. She looked behind the drum kit next to her. She saw the Darwin flag. She took it and ran. "Paisley!! I got it! I got Darwin's flag!" "Excellent, Coco!"

At the end:
Freeman and Beethoven had tied. They both had 2 flags. They went face to face, there could only be one winner. The house captains of both teams, Lacy and Leo lined up next to each other. The last challenge was a race between house captains for the school flag at the end of the race. "3! 2! 1! Race!" They started to run across the school yard. Lacy was ahead. How was Leo going to keep up? "Go Lacy! LACY YOU CAN DO THIS!!" Artemis was cheering on. "GOOOOOO LACY!" Emerald started to cheer. Amber nudged her. "Stop it. We're meant to be chanting for Leo. He's our captain." Emerald stopped to avoid conflict with Amber. Glitter was on the left side of the track, Lacy's side. Glitter had a big branch. She waited for Lacy. When Lacy started to come her way she held out the branch and Lacy tripped. She fell hard on the ground. Artemis quickly ran to Lacy's aid, followed by Cloud, Emerald, Nala and Skye. "You okay Lacy?" Artemis asked her. Leo caught up and won the race for Beethoven. Everyone in Beethoven but Emerald and Skye cheered. "That's so unfair! Glitter tripped Lacy!" Cloud started to protest. Emerald got Lacy up and took her to Nurse Molly. Bailey spotted Aina, Amber, Cosmo, Glitter and Mike smiling. Why would Aina be smiling? Her house just lost! Bailey walked up to them. "Hey why you all smiling like that?" He asked them. "Bailey. You do remember you're apart of the popular six right? It also means an alliance. We had to help Leo win because Cosmo and Mike's in the alliance. Last time we checked, no one from Lacy's best friends are apart of our alliance,"

Coco's POV
I saw Bailey talking to the most evil cats in the school. Also Glitter, the one who tripped Lacy. I'm not in Freeman but that was cheating. Why is Bailey even talking to them? He shouldn't be, they're our enemies. He still likes Mike, I know he does. He's been keeping secrets ever since day 1 of term 3. He finally walked away. I ran up to him. "Hey! Did you see how unfair that was? I can't believe Glitter! Okay Lacy is a gossip girl but still!" He looked at me blankly. "Well what do you expect? It's Glitter and to be honest who cares what happens? It's not like it's our house." He said to me. The nerve. Seriously @what is wrong with him?! "What is wrong with you? You've been so weird! You know what? You're becoming a popular snob. Don't talk to me." He glared at me. He then walked off. What? What was that?! Never mind.

At Bailey, Cindy and Coco's House (still in coco point of view)
Home! Oh my gosh, it's Tuesday isn't it? I forgot that I have to go see Bree and her friends.... I forgot their names already. Except for Daisy. I know Daisy. I walked off and "um where are you going?" Bailey asked me. "None of your beeswax." I said and I kept walking to Bree's house. I entered through the cat flap and they won't there? Probably in another room. I knocked on the door. A cat answered. "Hi. Do we know you?" She asked me. "Oh! It's Coco! Let her in." I heard Bree say. The cat let me in. Camera, Bree, Daisy and the cat and a corgi was there. I sat down. The cat soon sat as well. Bree started the introductions. "Okay so, This is my best friends, Alaine and Daisy. But you already know Daisy. This is Camera's best friend, Winnie."

After some conversation.
"There's also a really mean cat at our school. Her name's Delilah." Camera told us. "At DSP, we have 3 evil cats at our school, Aina, Amber and Glitter." I told them. "Hey Coco, how's Nancy been? I haven't seen her in weeks. I kind of miss her." Daisy asked me. "Uh yeah she's been doing good. She's got good friends." I told her. "Oh who are her friends?" "Like Esmerelda and Millie?" I could tell Daisy missed Nancy. "Hang on a second, who is Nancy?" Winnie asked. "She was like my old best friend." I felt sorry for Daisy, plus Nancy didn't really mention Daisy much in anything. Well not what I had heard, I don't really talk to Nancy much. The only time i hear her is when she's bickering with Nala or Nova. As you know, they're sisters.
