The day of Bhai and Barkha's engagement arrived quickly.

I am constantly exhausted, and this morning sickness is making things difficult for me. I cannot eat, I cannot sleep, and I cannot speak. Getting angry with Rudra and snapping at him is all I have been doing.

These past few days, he has been really testing me. When I tell him not to do something, he goes and does it anyway! Rudra had to do something to aggravate me more after noticing that I was getting irritated. He seems to enjoy causing me trouble. And he had the nerve to call me an angry firefly.

Pissing the hell out of me!

I told him not to breathe so loudly, so what did the man do? He moaned shamelessly and breathed loudly, just to irritate me, and then he fell asleep. Furthermore, that day he even snored!

"Aahou!"

Before I could hit the floor, I caught myself. My heart was in my throat, and out of fear, I could have just slipped and hurt myself as well as my baby. My saree just tangles my leg. As I gazed at the saree, it dawned on me that not only was Muktha absent, but I also had no idea how to drape one.

"Rudra!"

I screamed from the closet and waited for him to answer, but he didn't. So I screamed again, louder than before. And now I hear his frantic footsteps before he dashes in.

"What?! No, Chandini, not again!" He said. "My darling, you need to quit screaming at random."

"I thought you liked me screaming your name. I guess I was wrong."

I paused as I turned to face him; he was standing close to the closer door. Without clothes. Water dripped from his hair, and soap foam on his body.

I said, ignoring his shocked look, "You are a billionaire, yet you walk around naked all the time."

He whirled to go, but I could still hear his quiet mumbling. "It is my fault for showering naked rather than dressed."

After some time, he returned, clothed and clean from his shower. He still had water dripping from his hair, causing his shirt to get damp. I was really bothered by it, but he did not seem to care. The longer I stared at his shirt getting soaked, the more irritated I became. I did my best to ignore it, though.

Coming up behind me, he asked. "Now tell me, what is upsetting you so much?"

I let out a sigh and peered at him through the mirror. "I want to wear this saree, but I am not sure how. And muktha is not here-"

"Remain still."

He interrupted me, and I glared at him, which he found amusing. I stood still as he took the saree and began wrapping it around my waist. I was a little surprised and perplexed about how he was able to drape a saree.
