Meeting them.

Luke's point of view

We finally arrived to my parent's house and I noticed that she was looking at the house almost as if she was admiring the size of it.

Pandora: your parent's home is beautiful, will we be staying here?

Luke: no, I have a house just up the road from here, we will be staying there if my parents didn't tell anyone else they could stay there.

I watched as she was about to say something when I heard my mother speak up first.

His Mother: I'm glad you made it here, I hope everything is okay considering how long it took you to get here.

Luke: we ran into a bit of trouble halfway here along with staying at a nearby hotel for the night.

His mother: are you going to introduce me to your friend Lukas or are you going to let her stand there looking fearful?

Luke: right, mom this is Pandora and Pandora this is my mom.

Pandora: it's wonderful to meet you, you have a beautiful home.

His mother: thank you child, it's an Victorian style home but it needs some repairs so watch where you step.

I watched as she took Kole into her arms before I locked the truck and walked inside with her next to me. I felt her gently take my hand in hers as we followed my mother inside the house.

Luke: relax, everything is fine baby, I know you're nervous but I promise I'm not going anywhere...

I watched as my mother turned around and seen Pandora holding the baby to her chest...

His mother: you failed to mention that we were expecting a newborn baby, is the child a male or female?

Luke: a male, his name is Kole....

His mother: such a shame, I figured he would have your name son but he is precious. I hope for the sake of your child that he wasn't born before you married.

Pandora: actually ma'am Luke...

Luke: she gave birth before I had a chance to ask her to marry me but I do plan on marrying once the ring I ordered arrives, I had it customed made so it will take at least a month before I get it.

His mother: pity but I do hope you two get married here, it's a tradition going back seven generations on your father's side and I hope you continue the tradition Lukas.

Luke: yes mom, speaking of dad. Where is he?

His mother: he took the rest of the family to the lakeside cabin, he wanted to let them use your place but it is far too small for five kids and three adults so your father told them they could stay at the cabin and if you need a place for the baby to sleep, I took the liberty in having a baby room installed in your place and I hope you don't mind but it needed a place for a child.

Luke: thank you mom. We will head that way and see everyone here for dinner.

His mother: I don't know what is on the menu considering I'm not doing any cooking but if I know your cousins Lukas, I'm sure there's going to be meat involved. I hope you're okay with that Pandora.
