Rest and Relaxation

Pandora's point of view

I was finally back home and as requested by the doctor, I was on bed rest for the next seven days which I hated because I had to depend on Luke while I worked from home all while feeding Riley during a few meetings.

Pandora: I see that a few people have decided to complain about not not getting what they asked for, what is that about?

I listened to the reason behind that and seen Riley was sleeping so I placed in on the bed next to me while I adjusted my shirt so it covered my chest good and I seen Luke sit down in the chair next to the bed. I muted the microphone so the other three wouldn't hear my conversation with Luke.

Luke: can I do anything while you finish with you meeting?

Pandora: I can't think of anything.

Luke: I will be home later, don't worry about dinner I will pick something up from the way home from work.

Pandora: okay baby, I love you.

I felt his lips suddenly brush against mine and I kissed him before he walked out of the bedroom.

Luke: I love you too buttercup, I will see you later.

I unmuted the microphone and finished the meeting after they told me about several of the complaints that were made.

Pandora: I know that people will be unhappy and I propose that it is looked into and we will discuss it during the next meeting, I find it strange that there is complaints to begin with, is there anything else that isn't mentioned on the paperwork?

Lisa: I know that you are currently on bed rest but I have a few confidential papers that require your signature, if you can get here immediately. They need to be sent back to the companies as soon as possible.

Pandora: I will be there shortly. Is that all that needs discussing?

Lisa: Yes Ms. Hardy.

Pandora: I'm leaving you three in charge of the complaints just make sure that the person or people aren't being scammed out of the money they receive from the company.

Lisa: yes ma'am.

I quickly ended the call and looked for a decent outfit to wear before I headed to the office, I knew that Luke would probably be upset if he seen me out of bed but I needed to get the papers signed so they could be sent back to the person that asked gor my signature.

I placed Riley in the car seat after I walked to my vehicle and drove to the office. I tried not to let Luke see me but he looked over at me when Riley let out a loud laugh and I seen him walk over to me.

Luke: you should be home resting, what are you doing here?

Pandora: I needed to sign a few documents and have them sent back, can you watch Riley until I get done?

I watched as he looked at the other security guard before talking with him.

Luke: hey Charlie, I'll be right back.

Charlie: alright man...

I felt him gently grab my arm as he made me walk with him to a nearby break room so we could talk in private.
