chapter forty eight

Making changes.

Pandora's point of view

Four days passed since I patched things up with Luke and I found myself laying in his arms while he softly snored, I watched him closely not realizing it before because I was still holding to a love that was longer on this earth but seeing him laying beside me now made me truly realize how much I needed him even though I wouldn't admit it before, I smiled at the fact that he was here and I wasn't going to let him go ever again.
I looked at his face and softly whispered to myself.

Pandora: I don't deserve you but I'm glad you chose to stay with me.

I looked down at the engagement ring which reminded me of things to come in the future if he still wanted to marry me of course but I wasn't going to rush things since I just got him back again. I heard Riley let out a small giggle and seen Britney walking out of the room with him in her arms, I was happy to have an amazing support group even though I didn't deserve them, they are the best thing that I could ever have in my life.

I looked over at Luke again and seen that he was still sleeping and I didn't want to wake him up because he looked cute while he was asleep and I quickly got the chance to get a picture of him while he slept. I kissed the tip of his nose and felt him pull me closer to him while he grunted at me before saying something.

Luke: five more minutes please buttercup, I am enjoying this.

Pandora: wakey wakey handsome.

Luke: I'm awake baby bear.

Pandora: do you have to work tonight?

Luke: no. So let me sleep please or I'll punish you some more.

Pandora: punish me please?

Luke: twice in one night wasn't enough for you?

Pandora: no...

Luke: maybe later, I'm worn out, can we just lay here and rest?

Pandora: you just want to sleep.

Luke: mmhmm

I watched as he placed his other arm across his face and I heard his soft snores again...

Pandora: baby...?

Luke: yeah baby bear?

Pandora: what do you say about us having another baby?

I seen him roll over and we looked into each other's eyes and I knew that he was thinking of something to say about the question that I had just asked him.

Luke: you want another baby with me?

Pandora: yes, but I was thinking we try again after we get married if that's okay with you.

Luke: I don't want to rush things between us...

Pandora: I don't either but I was just curious if it was something that you would be okay with doing.

Luke: it's a big commitment and not to mention your dad might want you being on maternity leave when you get closer to the due date and we agreed to be careful about it until we are married baby bear.

Pandora: I know we agreed but I'm on birth control so it's not like I'm going to get pregnant anytime soon.

Luke: I know baby bear, I just don't trust those birth control pills.
