Pandora's point of view

I woke up to the sun shining through the window as I pulled the sheet close to my body, I thought last night was a dream until I discovered that my clothes were laying on the floor in view of where I was laying. I decided to get out of bed so I could check on Riley when I seen him in the kitchen with Luke while he made breakfast, I slowly walked into the kitchen and sat down next to Riley who was in the high chair reaching for me. I quickly took him and he immediately started eating, I seen Luke turn around and place a plate of pancakes on the island before he noticed that I was awake.

Pandora: good morning handsome.

Luke: good morning beautiful.

I watched as he walked over to me and kissed me on the forehead.

Pandora: did you get any sleep?

Luke: I slept for a few hours but he started crying so I decided to take care of him so you could sleep in.

Pandora: I'm glad you two are bonding, I hope you don't mind but I have to meet my dad at the office today.

Luke: I don't mind. I will stay here with him while I look for a job.

Pandora: I can ask my dad if you can work at the office.

Luke: what kind of job do you have?

Pandora: I really don't do anything except sit behind a desk but when my dad become the President he signed the company over to me but I still let him know everything that goes on so he can help me with any final decision, I can give you a job but I still want him to be okay with it first.

Luke: so is it like a law office?

Pandora: it's actually a finance company and I know you're not a fan of police officers but if dad says you can have the job. I will need to have a background check done for you and I know that we need a new security guard at the front entrance, will you be okay with that?

Luke: anything is fine with me as long as get to work somewhere, I don't want you doing all the providing for your family.

Pandora: I know but I don't work everyday baby, but if you get the job you will work Monday to Friday and you'll make good money and there's vacation days.

Luke: I'm okay with working everyday but if it doesn't work out, I could always go back to Wyoming.

Pandora: if that's what you want to do, I don't want you be unhappy with living in the city since you're used to the country life.

Luke: I told you my home is wherever you are and I can get used to the city life.

Pandora: I know you told me that, I just want you to be happy with whatever you choose to do.

Luke: I am happy being right here with you.

Pandora: I love you.

Luke: I love you too.

I gave him a quick kiss before getting a shower and heading to work, I knew that I was a little late and my dad let me know it.

President Hardy: I know that you're in charge of the company but you're late and you missed a meeting.

Pandora: I know and I apologize, I got a late start and didn't wake up until an hour ago.

President Hardy: I would love to stay and chat but I have a press conference that I need to attend.

Pandora: hey dad?

President Hardy: yeah kiddo?

Pandora: can we meet up for dinner tonight and spend time together?

President Hardy: you mean like father daughter time?

Pandora: yeah, there's this new restaurant around the corner from my apartment that just opened up and I was hoping you could have dinner with me tonight.

President Hardy: sure kiddo, I will meet you there at 8 tonight.

Pandora: okay, see you then...

I arrived at the restaurant that I told my dad about and I waited around for him to show up but I looked at my phone and seen that it was already 9:30 so I decided to go back home after paying for my meal. I unlocked the door and seen Luke sitting on the floor playing with Riley

Luke: hey baby, how was work?

Pandora: it was okay, have you eaten yet?

Luke: yeah, how about you?

Pandora: yeah, I was supposed to meet dad at the restaurant around the corner but he never showed up.

Luke: I'm sorry baby, do you at least get to talk with him about hiring me?

Pandora: I was going to talk with him about that during dinner but I guess I could go see him in the morning and talk with him about hiring you.

Luke: okay baby, just take your time.
