I haven't uploaded to here in quite a while, not for any particular lack of motivation compared to my previous self, but more so out of an inability to get back into a routine once I've fallen out of an already established one. But I've had some thoughts lately that felt good enough to put down, for... alas, I've forgotten the word. Something beginning with P.
A sale, it occurred to me recently, is a sale on both sides, and a purchase on both sides. If I sell someone a meal for 5 dollars, you may think I am just the seller and they just the buyer. And yet, I am buying 5 dollars of money with my meal, and they are selling me 5 dollars for a meal. I don't think this particularly matters, and yet, it has stuck with me for a few days.
I wonder whether, if I were creating one of those motivation posters, "Live, Laugh, Love," etcetera, I'd either create a small one with as many words as possible crammed in, or if I'd instead create a large one, a ridiculously large one, with just as many words in a much larger font? I think the latter would be more comedic - ah, perhaps creating one with words as they'd describe a typical life chronologically? E.g. "combination, growth, birth, light, crawl, walk, basic memory, talk, language, grammar, maths, laughter, friendship, growth, learning, reading, growth, history, love, growth, sadness, memories, puberty, growth, growth, hair growth, growth, disappointment over lack of growth, anger, frustration, hormones, school, learning, friendship, love, sexual feelings, frustration, last growth, short still, disappointed, angry, love, dating, anger, frustration, love, college, fear, confusion, aimlessness, love, love, love, graduation, job, love, baby, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, work, pain, retirement, sleep, sleep, pain, sleep, pain, sleep, sleep, sleep, death." Such a thing would certainly be humorous if placed appropriately and if large enough, I suppose. Not, of course, the laugh out loud humor, but more so the high-brow, upturned nose humor.
