JJ's POV

We made it. We made it to nationals. We just won the third round of the tournament which means we're going to nationals. This year we're hosting it too.

I jump up and down with my team in excitement and we run off the field as we just won the game against Clemson; the team that beat us 2 years in a row and sent us home before we could get to nationals.

"Guys come in!" I say pulling them in for a team talk.

"You ladies are so incredibly gifted, and strong and you all played outstanding today and I am so proud and happy. We haven't won nationals since my freshman year and at this point I don't care if we win or lose because I am so beyond proud that we made it this far. The hard work isn't over yet ladies 1 more week. I need you guys to give this sport every thing you got and more for 1 more week. If we play how we played today we will without a doubt become national champion. But win or lose, rain or shine, I know you guys will show up and show out. I love you all so much. Penn state on 3... 1,2,3" "PENN STATE." We all shout.

I arrived back home after a long flight from Clemson. "Em." I say walking into our place and she was fast asleep.

I put my stuff down and showered quickly.

Once I got out and got dressed I went to the kitchen to make myself some pasta because I was starving.

I brought my pasta back into the room and settled down on the bed. I realized my phone was ringing so I went to check it but it wasn't mine. "Emily." I shake her awake. "Hm?" She says and realizes her phones going off.

"Why is Elle calling me?" She says. "Probably for a booty call." I laugh. She declined her call and went to go back to sleep. "Oh goodness! I'm so sorry I forgot. Congratulations on wining!" She quickly turns over and says. "Thank you lovey." I say, "it's okay we can talk about it in the morning. Get some sleep." I say and place a kiss on her cheek. "I love you." She says. "I love you more.

"Hey. Future national champion and wifey. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up. Wake up." Emily says over and over again until I open my eyes. "Tell me all about yesterday!" She says.

"There was a soccer ball and then we won." I roll over on top of her and buried my face into her neck. "Were the coaches happy?" She asks.

I was way too tired to process words right now. "Hibernating time." I say and I pull her shirt over my head. Bringing my head towards the head hole and shutting my eyes once more. "I just had 2 coffees and gummy worms so wake up." She says. "Emily I'm tired." I groan.

"So?" She says. "I let you sleep when you were tired last night." I say. "Fine I'll let you sleep." She says. "Thank you."

"Wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up wake up." I hear. I look at the clock and it was 30 minutes later. "You're so lucky I love you so much." I glared at her.

"Elle called me again." She says. "Did you answer?" I ask. "No I texted her and asked why she keeps calling me and she said she wants to talk to me in person and I said no." "Bro what is she doing." I roll my eyes. "She's bored so she's starting problems again." Em says.

"I'm just going to block her." She reaches for her phone.
