Right before The Day, Luke headed to the bar after hours and had a conversation with Grayson.
Luke swings open the doors greeting Grayson with a smile.
"Hey! How's it going Gray?"
"Luke? It's far too late for you too be here you know, everyone's gone for the night."
"Eh, that's fine, if anything it makes it easier."
"If this is about the barrier I can assure you that-"
"Look, I need to tell you something." Luke approached him, and talked quietly
"I was thinking about asking out Alexis tomorrow!" He got excited at the end of the sentence and stopped whispering
"Oh.. really?" Grayson says hesitantly
"Yeah! Great idea right? Well I'm sure any day would be fine but, I dunno, I feel like tomorrow is The Day, you know?! "
"Heh, yeah.. I suppose, I haven't thought about love in a long time."
"Relax old timer, your not that old yet, I'm sure you'll find someone for you one day."
"Old timer?! The hell is that supposed to mean?!" Grayson says slightly offended
Luke laughs and pats him on the shoulder.
"It's great talking to you, you know? I can tell you anything."
"Heh, likewise."
The two of them reminisce about old memories and talk late into the night, little did Luke know, this would be the last time he'd ever talk to Grayson as a friend.
