Immediately after announcing their enemy, Valour charges at him, swings sending pillars of light that chase him as he evades.
Valour quickly closes the distance however, as he does, Cole spreads his malicious presence upon the battlefield, stopping Valour in their place.
Something about this is all too familiar..
He paused, spear only inches from Coles face, not from intimidation however, they were recalling something.
Cole stands bemused
"It.. can't be.." Valour said in disbelief
They drops their spear and it fades into light, falling to one knee they recount the following words;
"My liege, my savior, I hadn't expected to see you again, I thought you were lost. My apologies."
"Huh?" Cole raises an eyebrow
"I pledge to be your sword and shield, for as long as this life of mine permits." Valour declared
Cole lowers his eyebrow, then smiles.
"Well in that case.." Cole rubbed his chin
"How fun is that! Take me somewhere else, I want to collect my thoughts. This kid spent so long without any memories it feels like it's starting to affect me too." Cole said curiously
Valour immediately stood upon hearing his request.
"Understood, grab onto my back, and I will take you to our base of operations."
"Yahoo!" Cole says, hopping on their back
As they begin rising in the air, Dustin Alexis and Jeremiah just make their way over to them.
Dustin calls out to them, Cole turns to look and Dustin is met with a look of disdain as they vanish in a trail of light.
Dustin's hand, reached out to the empty sky, and now, they were alone.
Jeremiah puts a comforting arm around him.
Luke, being carried in one of Jeremiah's music bubbles lies dormant next to them.
-Lets backtrack a little-
As it turns out, after Jeremiah's battle with Cole, he lied in the rubble of the building, Cole left him alive, though barely, he lied there for a good while before a strong presence enters the area and he comes to his senses, he realized his mask was gone, lying next to him.
He recalls snippets of the battle.
Cole pulls up his mask, looking behind the veil, Jeremiah holding his eyes shut.
"What's this..? Ah.. how funny is that?"
Jeremiah holds his face in shame, he gets up, repairing his wounds, he re-equipped his mask, standing slowly, making sure nothing was broken.
Then, a memory, sounds of screams fill his head, bones break, a pair of eyes meet his. He grips his head tightly in an attempt to squeeze the memories out of his head.
"Dammit.. now really isn't the time." Jeremiah said, repressing old memories
Jeremiah stumbles out of the rubble, his clothing in tatters, his Prowess on the brink and his level of exhaustion nearly at it's maximum.
He sighs. "I must be out of shape."
He walks forward, looking for his allies, he detects the faint presence of Dustin and Alexis nearby, and makes his way over to them, slowly but surely.
