Real quick, I'll be jumping through time in this part a lot, so pay attention to the -italics- also it's gonna be long, so be prepared to read for a while.
Now that the main story has finished, lets go back one last time, to when Cole lost control of his body.
When he writhed in pain, grabbing his head, he saw his memories, all of them, I wonder what that did to his mental state... well, either way, only one question remains.
What did he witness?
Years ago, when Cole was but a child, he lived in a smallish town with his brother, his mother, and his father and for a long time, life was peaceful.
On one random summer morning...
He lies on his back under a tree staring up at the sky, like he was trying to remember something.
A voice hits his ears.
"Cole..? Cole! Wake up! Oh no.. she's gonna be so mad.." The voice sounded distant, that was until a face came into view.
"Cole? Did you die??"
Cole snaps back to his senses sitting up far too quickly.
"Ow.. my head..." He rubs the back of his head
"What happened?" Cole asked
"You decided to climb the tree, and you fell on your head, then you stopped moving and I thought you died."
"Ugh.. my head hearts.."
"I know, but it's ok! I wouldn't let you die."
Cole looks up and sees his big strong older brother, Luke.
"I know, that's why your awesome!" Cole grins ear to ear and Luke stands proud
"What was that loud noise earlier?" A shadow behind Cole appears.
He turns around to see his father towering over him.
"I didn't do it." Luke said immediately
"You know that doesn't make you look innocent, right?" Dominus said
"I fell." Cole says casually
"From where??"
Cole pointed up
"Lords above, are you ok?!" He crouches down to inspect him
"No... Luke said I almost died." Cole says
"What? Your not gonna die, Cole." Dominus hugged him
Dominus glared at Luke who tried (and failed) to sneak back into the house.
"Where are you going?" He said, faking anger
"UH, nowhere I was just... getting ready for dinner... Yeah!" Luke said
"You really told your brother he was gonna die? What were you thinking." Dominus said standing up
"Come on Cole, lets go back inside."
They go inside, Cole and Luke's mother standing next to the table, arms crossed, looking very disappointed.
"Well well, look who finally showed up huh?" She said tsking
"But mom I-"
"No buts, I wanted this table set an hour ago, look at this, your not innocent either, honey."
"Well you know.. I just figured the kids would need some help too uh..." He trails off
"Yeah, uh huh, well how about we have a nice dinner with the 4 of us?" She suggested, sitting down
