Chapter Thirty-Nine~

Niall's POV:

July, 10th. (1 of 2)

"I'm hungry."

Ha. You probably thought that was me, but it wasn't... Not this time.

Harry was talking, but really to himself since no one cared to answer him.

My stomach growled because I was also hungry...

Actually no, I was starvingggg...

But I couldn't find the energy in my legs to get up and go eat, the energy in my hands to fix something to eat, or the audacity to ask someone to make me something to eat.

No, I no longer had the flu... I felt perfectly fine... Everything felt fine... Apart from one little, tiny thing...

My heart.

To me, that little spark was still there between me and Rosaline. I loved her more than anything, and I'd marry her within a heartbeat and without a doubt.

But no I wasn't going to propose... I don't think she's ready for that. And even if management would disapprove, I would still do it because the thing that they forget is: They work for us, we don't work for them. But still... I wouldn't... And I won't. Not yet...

But back to the point...

I love her, and I know you shouldn't make a deal over the ignorance of a text message, so I didn't.

The day before yesterday, I was texting her, she replied, but after I asked her how she was doing, I got no response. I figured; "Okay, she got side tracked or busy... So what? People do that. It happens." Like I said, I didn't make a big deal out of it.

Thennnn... I tried texting her again, but the following day- instead of being clingy and texting her again that same day... Because that's the kind of stuff that drives them away... Clingy guys. I mean, isn't it? Anyway, she didn't reply the second time.

Nor the third, fourth, fifth, sixth, or seventh attempt.

This wasn't like Rosaline, so I obviously turned on my overprotective state -She usually thought it was cute, or funny- and used Harry's phone to text Addison since I didn't particularly have her number.

Being Harry, the secretive, flirtatious one... He obviously protested at first, until I pleaded, telling him that it was urgent. He literally swiped his phone clean of texts and calls, then gave in.

It wasn't like I wanted anything more out of his phone, than just to text Addison. There was exactly no telling what kinds of text messages the two exchanged, but I'd rather not know.

So, Addison told me that Rose's phone was perfectly fine, and she had it with her at all times... And that's when I began to feel this heart ache.

I was being ignored, but I don't remember doing anything.

If she's looked at the tabloids, she shouldn't believe what they say 90% of the time, and if so, she should have called me, to confirm it...

But she didn't even make that type of effort. Not at all.

"Niall... You coming?"

"Oh, I'm sorry. What?" I dragged my eyes away from my phone that was sat in my lap, that I knew wasn't gonna be alerted with any notifications from: Rosiiee♥™
