Aubrey's P.O.V
"Aubrey, this might sound weird but I actually am flirting with you, and I think I should work on my game." he said surprised.
"Wow, I didn't notice." I said sarcastically.
"Ouch, feisty but cute, it's like a home run."
"Well, ha, ha, ha, so funny. I'm dying historically."
"Well, I am sorry to hear that." Jake claims.
"You are, you say." I asked.
"Yes, something beautiful like you shouldn't be dying so young without knowing that she accomplished something in her life."
"And what exactly is that, Mom." I suddenly felt sick as the word mom repeats in my head.
I knew Jake wanted to say something but he knew it would back fire like his other ones.
We finally walked in silence with no interruptions. It was like a miracle just happened in fresh air but, by the time I stop daydreaming, I was already at my next class for second period.
( History) # 407, Mrs. Chavis.I already had my books for History, so I wouldn't have to go back downstairs. Their was a minute left in the period. I stopped right in front of the classroom. Jake's brown eyes sparkled as he looked me in the eyes. It was like someone put a flashlight in my eyes. He quickly looked down feeling really embarrass. My daydream quickly ended when the loud bell rang in my ears. I swear one day that bell is going to ring and it is going to make someone deaf.
Everyone from the class before rushed out and went to their second period class.
I tried to find the words to say to Mrs. Chavis but, I felt sick to my stomach.
"Mrs. Chavis........... ummmm, their is a new student in our school. His name is Jake Ashford. I will be the one leading him to his classes and much more."
"Well, Hello Jake, I am so glad to meet you. Luckily I have a seat next to Aubrey. She is a great student. If you have any questions you will have two people to talk too."
"I'll probably be using Aubrey for a lot of the questions. So if I interrupt you, please forgive me." Jake said pleasantly.
"I wouldn't see why you wouldn't." Mrs. Chavis winked at Jake and I. I could hear Jake snickering.
Are you kidding me.
I walked to my seat and was followed by Jake. As he pass by, the girls gazed into his eyes. Girls. Note sarcasm. I know I am a girl too but I am not like them, trying to get cute guys attention.
During Mrs. Chavis lesson Jake asked me questions. Now don't get me wrong, I was honored but it seemed like he just said that excuse to talk to me.
"Miss Bloom, what do you think about Tiffany's argument." I snapped myself out of my thoughts.
"Uhhhh.....ummmm, I think that-." I was interrupted by a voice.
"I think that Hitler only did the things he did because he wanted people to know what made sense to him. Hitler was a dictator but he was also a guy who had dreams that weren't so positive in life. He was taught when he was younger nothing that he did when he was older. So, yea he made a mistake but don't we all. So, If I may say myself and no offense but Tiffany's argument is so hatred towards Hitler's point of view nor, thinking like a Dictator." As Jake was done speaking everyone except Tiffany clapped and cheered. Mrs. Chavis even did as she looked shocked and surprised.
Seriously was this dude good in every subject.
The rest of the day, was horrible. Almost every single class I had, Jake had. As I was about to walk out the front door, Mr. Warner had stopped me.
"So, what did ya' think?" I saw in his eyes the eager that was displayed and I was hoping that I felt guilty but I couldn't. Jake was amazing for his first day of school. Surprisingly, I thought he would be.
"My day was great. Jake is in almost all of my classes and well, he is a good kid. Not a thing you should worry about."
"Good!" he said more ecstatic than normal.
This is actually gonna be a long year and probably interesting. Maybe....I don't know.
