Jake's P.O.V
Earlier today I had made reservations to this milkshake place that sells milkshakes and I was going to get two for Aubrey and I. Then, I was going to take us to walk around the park before quickly going home. That is when I will finally kiss her. I'm not going to lie. I am kinda nervous. That is why I didn't hear her. I was trying to make the reservations online. Well, I have been trying all day. I finally got it after she screamed in my ear. Man, that girl can scream.
I was waiting for her when I saw her coming towards the door but that Olivia chick stopped her from coming outside.
Urrrghhh. What is wrong with that girl. Suddenly, I saw Aubrey hug her before she took out her phone and she started typing before putting her phone back in her pocket. Once she was done, she walked outside and came to me, hugging me. I opened the door and let her in as her best friend Alison came rushing and got in the back. I chuckled before reaching my side and driving off.
Aubrey's P.O.V.
"I am in trouble." she says.
"What do you mean." I asked.
"Well, I recently got this new social media app where people start dating others online and I made a fake profile. Well, things haven't been going great. We met a few weeks ago, but now he keeps texting me and saying things like, "Why are you not answering my texts?" or if I am outside with the cheerleaders and the Football team, he is like "Why are you all over that guy in the jersey jacket?" I don't know what to do and I know that I would be the last person on earth, where as you'd help me. I just feel scared and I need your help." she sobbed as I surprisingly hugged Olivia. In some way, I felt bad for her but inside I kinda was happy that this was happening to her. I mean after all, they say what comes around goes around.
"It's okay. Why don't you tell your parents." I asked thinking off the obvious.
"I can't. He says that if I do, I won't see them ever again and I can't go back to the Child Social Services again." she said now crying her eyes out.
"What do you mean....again." I suspiciously asked.
She tried to speak but no words were coming out of her mouth. Finally, Olivia spoke.
"Nothing. Just forget what I said. Well, except for the help part but the Social Service thing....yea forget about that."
"Okay. Yea...yea. Um....just be careful and if you need me, text me or call me." I said giving her my number. It is something I thought I would never give her. But I can always block her, so...yea.
I walked out of the school and towards Jake's car as he came up to me, giving me a hug. He then opened the car door for me and I went in as Alison came in right after and drove to my house. It was quiet before Jake as usual broke the silence.
"Hey, what was Olivia talking to you about."
"Oh, nothing. She was just asking if we had homework for history." I lied.
"Oh, okay. Just make sure to tell me, if she says anything bad about you. You are not what ever she tells you. You are so much better than her." he says as he puts his hands on top of mine. I blush as I see Alison from the rear mirror smirking.
A couple minutes later, we reached my house. Alison got out first, probably thinking she needs to give me; Jake and I some privacy. I turned around to see Jake staring at me. My cheeks started to heat up as he continued to stare.
"What?" I asked.
"W-...Nothing." he said before walking out and opening my door. When he closed the door, he kissed me on the cheek and I walked towards my door where Alison was sitting there, probably bored.
