All alone

Chapter 30

3 year later........

A lot has happened for Aubrey and I. Let me catch you up to speed. First off, Aubrey turned 18 on the 24th of May; a week before the live shows for the voice and I turned 19 on the day of Graduation. Now, I am 22 and Aubrey is 21. My mom held a party for the occasions and it went amazingly well. Our parents met for the first time which I just realized and Aubrey was more beautiful than ever. Dylan just began his relationship with Olivia two weeks after the discussion we had. They didn't become official until the month after. Logan talked to Dani's father who didn't expect him to do that.

He thought Logan was just another guy coming into her life and trying to get with his daughter but he did what no other guy did. He got to know her father. That is the guy he wanted for his daughter. Someone who respects not only him but his daughter as well. Afterwards, Dani and Logan hung out and became real close. They began dating a week before Aubrey's birthday.

Kyle, well he is still focusing on his career but that's okay. Not everyone dates there dream girl in high school.

Ali and Aiden are still going on strong. They went to the same college. She went for Law because she wanted to be a lawyer for kids who needed homes and Aiden became a Fireman. He joined the academy right after college and became top of his class.

Aubrey did really well in the competition. In fact, she did so well that she won the whole thing. Another win for not only Adam but a win for her. She got her record label and was set up with managers, assistants that she interviewed, her social media asset team and also her lawyer that she will need for any law binding situations. I, as well got accepted to the writing school. I have done really well and even got one of my completed novels published.

That was a starting point in my life because it became the best selling novel of all time. So, you can say both Aubrey's and I career really hit it off.

Aubrey, though, her accomplishments have been remarkable. She has gotten three nominees from the Vma's every year since she won 'The Voice' and has won at least one every time. The most she has gotten was two out of three but that was within the second year since her win on 'The Voice'.

She has also won Grammy's, Teen Choice Awards along with a dozen other awards from different awards ceremony. She has gone platinum twice in a year which no one has ever done and her second album became number one for 6 weeks. She has toured all over the world, including Africa and some parts of the Caribbean. Aubrey has made more accomplishments then anyone even could imagine.

But the biggest accomplishment she has done, is still make time for her family. She has had a week off every other week to see her family. Sophie and Austin being now teenagers. Austin is now all about cars and video games. Girls are kind of still questionable. Sophie is all about shopping, having sleepover and make up. Boys are also questionable. Ara being twelve now, visits Sophie and Austin all the time. I think Austin may have a crush on Ara but like I said it's questionable at the moment.

As for my brother, Derek, he has actually been a different person from the last time we saw him. He is now the owner of a really big corporation company and makes $20k every hour. How? I don't know but he does. And it's not some rip off. It's all legitimate. My brother is a multi-billionaire who doesn't rip off people. Shocking, but I know.

I also told my parents about the money. They were surprised but became cool with what Derek was doing.

And finally, my mom and dad worked through some things and have decided to stay friends. They thought it was best for Ara to see that everything turned out fine after what happened. Naturally though, I just think they want Ara to have both parents in her life and there doing everything they can do to provide that.
