Aubrey's P.O.V.
I finally was able to go back to the lot of where The Voice is filmed and I got my battle partner and the song we were doing. It was kind of exciting because I was gonna make friends through this. So, my battle partner was a guy name Scott Emerson. He is 19 years old and he happens to be really talented. He was talked about throughout most of the auditions.
I greeted him as he nodded. We then went to a room and were given the song that Adam thought would be perfect for us to sing together. Meant to Be by Florida Georgia Line ft. Bebe Rexha. Interesting choice but I like the challenge.
We then went through a run through by ourselves. We were given the parts that we were instructed to sing. As we rehearsed the song, we then headed out. This time it was just Dylan, Kyle, Logan, Ali, Aiden and Jake that came and waited for me in the area where most of the family and friends came to support to there loved ones.
"Okay, let's go." I said.
"What song did you get?" Jake asked.
"Meant to Be by Florida Georgia Line featuring Bebe Rexha." I said.
"Oooh, I loved that song. It's actually a really interesting choice. Why that song?" Dylan said.
"I have no idea but I will see when I have to come back in two days, I will find out." I said.
"How come?" Kyle asked.
"Well, I will be singing the song for the first time with my battle partner." I said. They all gave the "Ooooh" look as we went back to the hotel that we were staying in for the remainder of the week.
We all had our teachers give us the work from advance so we wouldn't be behind. We would do them while being in L.A. Plus, that was the only way I could do what I am doing without actually driving back and forth to my hometown in L.A.

Two days later.......
I have sang the song about a bunch of times. I even had Jake sing the guy parts. Which is funny because my battle partner is a guy and so was the lead vocalist in Florida Georgia Line. It was now time to sing this in front of Adam and his guest he brought for the battles.
I met up with Scott as my friends sent me off and waved as I walked with him to the waiting room. We caught up on things that has happened since the last time we saw each other. He has been traveling a long way for this. It actually was impressive the dedication he had for this. Was going to make having to beat him a whole lot harder.
We were finally called up. We went in a little area to wait until he called out for us. A moment later, he called out to us.
Then we saw who he brought. Charlie. Freaking. Puth. Holy shit.
"Oh my gosh, no way." I said as I walked in. I kind of had a little freak out. But it's okay. We probably won't meet for a whole other year or so.
"Hey guys." Adam said.
"Yea, wassup. How y'all doing." Charlie said.
"I'm great. Although I am kind of freaking out right now." I said.
"Awe, your sweet. Don't worry, you'll be fine." He said. I mentally blushed. Thank god for make up.
Scott and I then hugged Adam and Charlie before heading to our spots and realizing we have to sing in front of them.
"This is bizarre. Like I don't think I am going to be able to do this in front of them." He whispered.
"I know." I mouthed. Adam then spoke, "Okay, we have the four chair phenomenon who sang so amazingly. It blew the house down. And then we have the three chair turn who sang and shocked me so much, the image I had in mind was nothing compared to who you actually were. Together they hopefully will blow my mind." He says. We both laughed as Adam acted as his goofy self.
