All alone

Chapter 17

The next morning, I felt a weight of something on me. I open my eyes to be met by a familiar light brown eyes staring down at me. Realization hit me and I couldn't help the smile that approach my face.

"Good morning, beautiful." Jake said.

"Morning. May you please get your heavy ass off of me. I think your squishing my ribs." I said trying to push him off.

Unfortunately, he ignored my wishes and stayed on me. "Nah, I think I am better off staying like this." He had a stupid smirk on his face. It aggravated me that he did that.

I tried numerous times to push him off but it was no use, he was too heavy and I was weaker than my younger siblings. Giving up, I just laid there and sighed.

"Hey." Jake said. I looked at him ready for him to continue. "Get dress. We're going out."

He finally climbed off of me and I was able to breathe again. I then realized what I was wearing and blushed. I quickly got up and went into the bathroom and did my normal routine. I could tell Jake was smiling big time. When I was finish, I got out and went to my closet. I took out a pair of high waisted jeans with a crop top. I laid them on the bed and turned to see Jake watching my every move.

"If you want to stay in here, you're going to have to turn around and don't look behind you." I said. He chuckled before getting up and walking towards me. Each step I took back, he would move forward.

Eventually I ended up being on the wall. He then leaned in closer towards me and gave me a quick peck on the lips. He then turned around, giving me the ability to change.

I change quickly into the clothes that I got from the closet and put my pajamas on my bed.

"You can turn around now." I said. He turned around and had a big smirk on his face.

"You know, one day I am going to see that sexy body of yours and then there will be nothing to hide." He exclaims.

"Well, who says I am going to do that?" I asked teasingly.

"Oh, I have my ways." He says. I roll my eyes at his comment.

"Okay, but just so you know, your going to have to do way more than that to see me fully, and I mean fully.....naked." I whispered the last part as a teasing method in his ears.

I then went downstairs but not before I heard him yell 'hey, that's not fair'.

I smirked and went into the kitchen to see my mom tapping on the coffee cup which must have contained coffee. Obviously with her doing that, the twins ate there waffles.

"Good morning everyone." I said chirpingly.

"Good morning Aubrey." Sophie said.

"Good morning Aubbie." Austin said.

When I first came into this family, Austin and Sophie were about 4 years old. Pretty young to be honest with you. Anyways, Austin couldn't pronounce my name properly so, he just always said Aubbie. It stuck with him until he turned 6 and then he finally got it right.

Who knew two years was all it was going to take to get the boy to say my name right. He still calls me Aubbie but not all the time.

I sighed and grabbed a coffee cup and poured myself a cup of delicious coffee. I then went next to the twins and sat down, drinking the coffee.

Jake then came in and walked up to me. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I could definitely feel my cheeks heating up. At the corner of my eye, I could see Sophie giggling and Austin just glaring at Jake.
