We walk into history which is Ms. Chavis class. The same thing happens, but this time I decide to ignore them. I mean so what, if I am talking to a guy. It's not like were dating. Well, not that I know off. OMG, what if we are, I am such a horrible girlfriend. I just wish.....
"Aubrey."
"Aubrey, hello anyone home."
"Ohh sorry. Just thinking about...something. It's nothing." I know. I know. I should talk to him about what is going on. Right. Oh god, mom please help me. Tell me what to do.
"You sure. You seem out of it just awhile ago." he said
"Yea, I'm fine. Thanks for caring."
"No problem, Angel". The way he called me Angel had made me blushing. My cheeks felt like they were on fire. He must have notice because he chuckled and then intertwined our hands together.
I then remembered the dance and how I like him and he likes me. So, why not. After all girls can ask guys out right.
"Angel, are you sure your okay." he asked.
"There is this dance today at 8 and my adoptive mom wants me to go and make friends and maybe have more than a friend because well I don't have a lot of friends. I was hoping that you........you.....ummm....might wanna come. With me?" I looked into his eyes ready for whatever answer he might give me.
"I would absolutely, positively love to go to the dance with you. And only you." I felt my heart skip a beat every second. How does he make every little thing so, unresistant. He is like a god.
"You would? I mean are you sure.....I mean great." I said slightly turning red from embarrassment.
"You know, your cute. I like that about a girl. Pick you up at 7:50p.m. " He asked with a nervousness towards his voice. Now lets see who's laughing now. I am kinda glad, I have an affect on him.
"Yea." Afterwards, we gave Ms. Chavis our 15 minute attention. Every now and then, I would catch a glimpse of him staring at me. He would smile. Then, I would smile. Then, we look back at Ms. Chavis. Unfortunately, the bell rang making me feel sad on the inside, but happy on the outside because we had art class together next.
We walked out of class, and headed straight for the art's room. Since we don't need any textbooks to do art, we just went straight their. That is what I appreciated about art. You don't have to know the history to do it, you just got to feel it in your soul and do it on a piece of paper. Also, inspiration might help too. Art was easy for me because it came natural to me. When I do art I don't think about what is around me. I think about the picture, itself. It has a lot of meaning to it.
As Jake and I walked inside, we took our seats and began our project. We were suppose to make a piece about anything. I chose my life. It has a lot of meaning to it and it was easy, since all I had to do was just draw it. In five minutes of working on my project, Mr. Grady walked over and saw my piece.
"Aubrey, this is........AMAZING! OMG, how did you....learn something like this. I mean what your doing is so hard to teach anyone how to do." Mr. Grady examined my work even more and gathered the whole class to come around and see.
"Wow, you sure are talented, Angel." As Jake said that, I blushed and let some of my hair fall in front of my face.
"Yea, this looks amazing Aubrey. You should do this for a living. You would make thousands of dollars for it." Jessica Morgan said. She was a sweet and loving girl. She was actually my friend when I first came here but, then she abandoned me for Olivia Hollings. I was so mad at her but after Olivia told everyone Jessica's secret about how she wanted to lose her virginity by the time she leaves high school, everyone started making fun of her. Telling her that she could get with them or their brothers for 50 cents.
