Jake's P.O.V.

4 hours later.............

"So, your brother just drops 1.5 million dollars into your possession for you to do whatever you want with it and......it's clean." Logan said.

"Yea, I guess the story he told was true. But I am not going to use it, just yet. I have another guy that deals with money. He is really good and I trust him. I am going to take it down there later and see what he says." I said as I just got ammo for my gun. And before you get all judgy, I am playing Call of Duty right now. Relax, geez.

"Good call. I know Derek is your brother and everything but he has screwed up more times than we can count. You have to be 100% sure that it's clean. Does your mom or dad know?" Dylan asked.

"Nah, I haven't told them. I mean, if the money is clean like he says than I will but up until then, I am keeping my mouth shut." I said.

Suddenly, Ara came and rushed in front of me. "Jakey, play with me?"

"Ara, I would love to but right now I am kind of in a middle of a game." I said as I gently pushed her out of the way.

"But, you said you would and I wanted to show you my drawings." She said as her face began to sadden. And I really hated that face.

"Oh Ara, not that face. You know I can't ever reject you when you have that face on." I said really hating the fact that my little sister can control me with just a pouty look and those sad looks in her eyes.

"Well, you know what your going to have to do." She said.

"Sorry boys, maybe after." I said. They sighed as they continued on without me knowing that it was going to be awhile.

We then walked back to her room and she showed me all of the drawings she did in the past couple of days. They were honestly amazing. I told her to make sure she puts them in a portfolio.

That way, if she gets into an Art school, she'll have more than enough to show them. Also, she is only like 9 so, I mean she has 9 more years and than off to college.

Spending more time with her, I realized how much her art grew. She used to draw things that were very much so positive. Now, she has done other dark things but not too eye opening. Just close enough to the point where she probably is just getting ready for the world.

I am truly though honored that she is finally allowing me to experience this. Before, it was very much how'd you expect her to be. A girl slowly dying and her coming to terms with it. She did and that really angered me. And then she got her hope back and now, she is revealing her true self and it's amazing to see.

"Jakey, why are you and Aubrey always being like how mommy and daddy used to be?" Ara asked.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"I mean you are like always kissing and saying things to each other and I don't know. I guess I'm wondering why?" She asked.

"Well, what you are asking is why do we show so much PDA? Public Display Affection. Well, when you are madly in love and with the right person, you tend to do a lot of that. But, why? It's only way I know how. I mean what you see up front is a couple who loves each other very much but behind close doors, well that part never gets a chance to happen. And that's because there aren't much space for us to have that chance. So, we show the love by doing whatever we can to remind each other just how lucky and happy and in love we are." I said.

"So, you really love her?" Ara asked.

"Yea, I do." I said.

"Are you going to marry her?" She asked a different question once more.
