All alone

Chapter 23- Part 2

Aubrey's P.O.V.

So, Jake just gave my Christmas gift. Or should I say, gifts. And it was truly heartfelt and amazing and he is the sweetest guy in the world. He thought of it all. I mean it was truly the best Christmas of all times. I couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend than the one I have.

I, however got him a couple of things too. They aren't much but it's things I know he would possibly like and maybe use. 

He started opening all his gifts and each time he was more amazed about it then the last. After he was done, he gave me a big kiss and then said 'thank you'. I smiled as I was glad he loved them. 

I gave him a pair of the adidas Yeezy Boost 700 v2 "Tephra", Coach cologne, an apple watch in the color of red, an Alexa in the color of charcoal, and beats headphones in the color of black and red. 

I think I did pretty well. It's small things but I know he'll make it special. Somehow, some way. He will.

We then hung out as we looked at the Christmas tree and were in awe at how pretty it was. 

Jake then went upstairs and came downstairs as his hands were behind him. I looked at him as I then realized that it might be a gift. "Okay, Jay. Whatever, it is. Save it for Valentine's day. I have enough already that I don't know what your going to do for the other holiday's." I said.

"Oh hush, I still get to spoil you since Christmas isn't over just yet. Plus, this is my anniversary gift to you." He replied.

I sighed as I couldn't help but fall in love with him all over again. He then sat down with his hands still behind his back. 

"So, this isn't an official gift but it's a guarantee that my promise to you is official and that I will promise to you, your happiness, my love for you continuing every day for you and having nothing less than the boyfriend of your dreams. Especially, when I make you crazy and you don't want to see me, I will promise you that I will try everything I can to be there for you. Physically and emotionally. I promise you my whole heart." He said as he brought out a ring box. He then opened it as I gasped at how beautiful it is. I could feel a new set of tears falling down my face. 

"Oh babe, it's gorgeous." I said as I gawked at it and then looked at him. I then leaned in and kissed him. He pulled me into him and we made out for a moment but then pulled away. 

"Well, you want to put it on." He asked. I nodded as my hands shakingly put it on. Kissing Jake again, I couldn't help but feel over the moon happy. He was the ultimate best. 

The ring is a princess tiara crown rose stone ring. It's actually the one I would get. How he knew, is something I'll never know.

"How did you get this?" I asked.

"Babe, you know that my mom has her fashion job and I also happened to go with her on those business. Through it, I was also paid seeing as I helped her out in some of her outfits. So, the money I got I never really used and my mom loved me saving but she would always tell me that I don't need to. She had the funds for me to go to college, plan a wedding and anything else I want or have in the future. I decided to do what she says and basically spend it on you. But, I don't want you to worry, I still have enough to buy what I got you a bunch of more times." He said. I was shocked, I never knew he was paid as well. I thought it was just volunteering business. 

"However, I am not trying to flaunt my finances in front of you but just explain it in a way where I hope you don't see me as a jerk." He said. I giggled as he laughed with me.

"No, babe. Your totally fine. Aren't you forgetting that I am 1.6 million dollars rich as well." I said.

He got the 'oh yea, right' realization and then snuggled up against me. We then relaxed for the rest of the night. When it reached 12:00am, in the morning I was sure that yesterday was the best day of my life.
