Jake's P.O.V.
After I ended the call with Aubrey, I took a shower and got dressed. After that I went downstairs and to my front door before walking out and going to Aubrey's house. Now normally, I would have invited girls over but this time, it was different. I know, I know. Every guy, always say's this. But it's true. Aubrey is more real. She is perfect in every way and I just feel like I'm myself when I am with her and like I can breathe again. Oh god, I am so whipped.
I get into my car and in 5 minutes I am at her house like I said. I got out of the car and knocked on the door waiting for someone to open it. I can still remember the last time, I was here. Which was like yesterday but it felt like weeks.
Suddenly, the door opens and a little girl who looks about 9 or 10 years old is staring at me. She has brown chocolate hair with caramel highlights and light brown eyes. She looks nothing like Aubrey. Then, I remember that her parents died from a car accident and she ended up getting adopted by a rich family. This must be the rich families daughter.
"Hello, I'm Jake. Is Aubrey home?" I asked very sweetly. I was always good with kids. I guess it is probably because I am getting ready for the future, when I have my own.
She gives me a little smile before walking out and bringing back the person I came to see.
"Hey Angel." I said smiling.
"Hey, Jay. Umm.. come on in." she said nervously. Well, at least I think she was.
I walked and was instantly hit with the smell of homemade lasagna. I smiled as I felt back at home again. Then, I frowned but quickly recovered from it. Anyways, we walked into the kitchen and I saw her adoptive mom cooking while her adoptive little sister was sitting down at the high top table.
"Hello, Mrs. -" I stop realizing I don't know what to call her.
She laughs as she says, "Just call me Kimberly." I nod as I walk towards the little girl.
"And what is your name princess."
"Sophie." she says grinning.
"Well, that is a pretty name. You know their is actually a princess named after you." I say. I have a little sister and well, she watches the show....like all the time. That is practically what's on. She is currently living with our Aunt Eleana because our mom travels and I am never home. But, she will be coming back in a week so I am excited for that.
"No their isn't. That's princess Sofia. I'm Sophie." she argues back.
"Well, if you change the PHIE to FIA than it will be Sofia." she smiles before nodding her head agreeing with me.
"Well, see you around Soph." I say before walking with Aubrey to wherever we were going.
Aubrey's P.O.V.
What the hell? What just happened. He is good with kids too. I swear if he shows one more characteristic and it's a good one, I am going to explode.
He is like Zac Efron or Chris Hemsworth.
We walk to my room and I closed the door a little bit, leaving a little space still opened. I walk to my bed and sat down, letting my shoulders face the door, waiting for him to take a seat. He sits right in front of me and I feel my cheeks starting to heat up. Curse you cheeks.
"Let's play a game." he said.
"What?" I asked.
"Let's play 20 questions." he says.
"Okay, you first."
"Favorite color?" he asked.
"Um.... Well, if I am a down kind of mood, I like pastel colors. But overall I like blue, blush pink, lilac, beige, and my favorite color blue is turquoise. You?"
