Aubrey's P.O.V.

It's been almost four months since Jake and I have been dating. And I honestly can say that I love that boy to death. He is the one I think I can see forever with. With everything that's happened in my life, it's been really hard to look at the future. But, Jake....he makes it easier. He makes it more exciting.

Right now, I am in history class. Mrs. Chavis was teaching us about the American history on Americans living here for thousands of years. It's kind of how many other people got to be here and enjoy the greatness of America.

The bell finally rang and everyone rushed out to get to the next period class they had.

"Hey, you okay. You seemed to be dazed off for most of the lesson?" Jake asked.

"Yea, I'm fine. Just thinking about a lot of things, I guess." I said. He nodded and then intertwined our hands together.

Class by class, we went in and learned for about 45 minutes to almost an hour and then left. Soon, it was lunch. We then sat our table as Olivia joined us. Recently, Olivia and I patched things up and we have become good friends. Olivia followed my advice and told her parents. Her mom's dad denied anything happening and they believed him. They thought this was Olivia's way of trying to get attention. So, when she turns 18 which is soon, she will move in.

I, of course, talked to my parents, like I said I would and they said sure why not. They didn't have the same reaction in the beginning but then they heard what I really had say about it. About the fact that, when it was just me and I was in a similar case, they told me no matter who I was, they would love me endlessly.

So, Olivia will be home and just in time for Christmas and my mom is going Christmas mania big. She does this every year. And each year, it is better and bigger than the last.

"Hey, so now that your moving in, what will you do when they realize that it wasn't just a few stuff being missing and in deed, your whole closet?" Alison asked.

"Oh, well, I told them that I was moving out. I told them that a friend of mine is letting me stay over until I go to college. Although, I won't have a fund for college or anything, I will probably just get financial aid.  Though, I don't know how it works for foster kids." Olivia said.

We then continued with the rest of our day. It was pretty much a normal simple day. I mean besides people thinking that something would happen with Olivia's and I new bond relationship.

But hey they say keep your friends close and your enemies closer. So, whatever she is getting at, I will be way ahead of her. Although, I don't believe that she would do anything.

I know she won't.

***************

It's Christmas Eve. It has finally arrived and in less than 24 hours will be Christmas and also Jake and I will be celebrating our Anniversary. Yea, kind of funny how our official date has landed on the day everyone will be celebrating another holiday. Lucky for us, we get two holidays to celebrate this year and every other year until it changes.

Right now, I was with the twins. Every year we make Christmas cookies and we leave it out for Santa to get them. I am kind of waiting for them to figure it out and then we can just make cookies for ourselves and have a new tradition. However, until then, it's for Santa.

Suddenly, my phone rang. I picked it up and answered. "Babe, I am outside your door." Jake said. I looked kind of confused before I went to the door.

I opened it to see that he was dressed in a Santa outfit. I laughed so hard I think I got stomach pain. "Yea, yea. Laugh it all up but I think I rock this outfit. Plus, my mom makes me wear it in hopes that everyone will see the newly done outfit for the winter." He said
