That night Caitlin had looked at her phone for the first time since the match when she got back to her room, at this time it was around 11 and Katie had sent her a text at 10:30 that read, 'Can I come see you?' Caitlin read it and immediately felt sympathy for her girlfriend. It was the first time their country had the opportunity to qualify for a World Cup and they had been knocked out on the first game. Caitlin replied wit 'Of course, I'll come to you.' So she left to go to Katies hotel room and texted her once she was outside. Katie told her what room she was in, when Caitlin found it, she knocked slowly twice and then was finally met with a red eyed Katie.

Caitlin immediately stepped forward and wrapped her arms around her girlfriend. She felt Katie tremble in her arms so she stepped them forward whilst still hugging and shut Katie's hotel room behind them. They stayed in that same spot just hugging for a couple more minutes before Caitlin loosened her grip on Katie and leaned back to look in her eyes.

"I'm so sorry Katie." She said then gave her a kiss on the forehead.

"I'm sorry, you should be out celebrating with your team." Katie said looking down.

"No I wanna be here with you babe, I love you." Caitlin blurted out without realising what she just said then leaned in to kiss her girlfriend.

Katie kissed her back but then processed what Caitlin said.

She leaned back out of the kiss. "Wait what?" She asked, looking in Caitlin's eyes.

"What?" She asked, confused.

"You love me?" Katie asked.

Caitlin paused, realising that she had let it slip. Was this too soon? Does she not feel the same way? Oh my God is she going to judge me for saying it so early into our relationship? These and about 10,000 other thoughts were going through Caitlin's brain. Katie could see in her eyes that she was scared and she probably could of guessed what she was thinking and they weren't positive thoughts.

"I love you too." Katie said gazing into Caitlin's eyes.

Caitlin looked at Katie and in that moment all she wanted was to be close to her, the only way she knew how to do that was to pull her in for a very long and deep kiss. One thing led to another, Katie had pushed Caitlin on her bed and discarded both of their clothes. Wandering hands were making it harder for Caitlin to keep composure until Katie had kissed her way down to in-between her legs and went to pleasuring her with her tongue and two fingers in her. Caitlin had come undone very quickly and moaned Katies name quite loudly, if any of Katie's teammates were in the rooms either side of her room they most likely would have heard.

Katie made her way back up to Caitlin and kissed her again.

"Fuck.." Caitlin said once they broke away again. "I love you." She said turning to look at her again. "So much, it's crazy."

"I love you too baby." Katie said putting her hand on Caitlins face and leaning in to kiss her again. The kiss was deepened again, however this time by Caitlin and then she climbed on top of her. Caitlin went down on Katie as well and it only took a couple of seconds before Katie had come undone as well. Once they both caught their breath again, they slowly fell asleep intertwined in one another and said a simple "good night, I love you " to each other.
