Vishrut POV

I have been avoiding her since the window incident, whenever I see her my junior, gets excited. It's too hard. That is the reason why I came to the party early, and when I think I successfully avoided her, she came again, I saw her getting down the stairs. Fuck why does she have to look like she straight came from heaven? whenever that leg comes out of that slit I want to run my fingers over it feeling her skin. her collarbones are driving me crazy, and she is making me insane, when she is about to turn her face to me I turn to the bartender and ask for a rye whiskey.

"I am sorry," she sat beside me.

"for what?", I didn't turn.

when she said I avoided her because she called me Vishrut, I wanted to laugh. Instead, I turned and saw her. watching her from a distance was good, but watching when she is this near to me with her legs crossed, her dress split half through the slit giving me the view of her thigh. God, it's so hot here. I came out of my little staring session when she moved her hand before my face. I explained to her it's not because of what she thinks it is.  when she is sitting near me like this asking questions I can't think straight. I can't frame some sensible lies, so I said it, I said about my little hot imagination. I think it's better to go. She looked horrified. I got up from there and made my way out. She caught my wrist "I too had it, about you. Just confessing" she shrugged. She saved me from my lifetime embarrassment.

Before we could speak any further Leela and Ram made their way to us. "I think we should go now, or I will look like a gosht in my own Mehandi with the dark circles underneath", Leela said dragging Adaa along with her. I and Ram followed them behind.

I was driving because the one who had to be driving was tipsy and sat in the backseat with his girlfriend. All members in the car have fallen asleep. Leela had her head on Ram's lap, and Ram's head was against the seat. Adaa had her head against the window legs up her chest and hands looped around her legs. we soon reached the house, Ram had Leela in his arms carrying her to the room, I thought of waking her up but changed my mind when I saw her cute face. I lifted her with one hand under her knees and the other on her back. She muttered something and nuzzled into my neck as soon as I lifted her. Fuck her breath on my neck is doing something. I have to set her to bed first. I straight went to my bed and slept the next minute my body touched the bed.

                                                 ---------------------❤️-----------------------

Everyone is waiting for Leela to come as we have to start Mehendi. Poora London ka thumakda started playing as soon as Leela entered. As the ceremony continued dances started. one after the other started dancing and everyone around cheered up enjoying the event. Mehendi -By Dhvni Bansali started playing then she came onto the stage with her geared lehenga. Her moves made me awestruck the way she moved to the beats reminded me of a peacock dancing in the rain as if she is in love with the rain, with herself, expressing all her happiness. She moved like that like she meant to dance, like she owed the stage. The smile that graced her lips was enough to know how much she loved to dance It's like the drop on the lotus leaf that shines like a pearl, showing its inner beauty. my eyes didn't leave her not even for a blink, as if she disappeared the moment I blinked. I came out when the song came to an end. Her eyes locked with mine straight looking into my soul reminded me of someone else someone who used to look at me with those innocent honey-brown eyes glowing like a rising sun, a radiating smile that could change my mood in seconds.

I made my way to my room unable to look into them anymore. My whole body felt weak unable to carry the weight of my heart, my knees buckled and hugged the ground hands seeking her support, my eyes felt the burn from the unshed tears but they needed her, they needed her warmth protecting cold evenings, her gentle caressing that makes me fall asleep, I need to hear her, her voice that could calm me in any situation, her presence that would make me feel alive.

"shhh..., it's ok, I am here", I felt hands wrapping around my head bringing it close to her waist. I tightened my hands around her without wasting a second bringing her on to me. I hugged her letting it all out, I hugged her like my life depended on it, like was my oxygen. she kept caressing me, but she said nothing letting the silence talk and calm me. I looked up meeting her gaze, I could see millions of questions shining like stars on a starry night. "it's ok, you don't have to", she said as I opened my mouth to explain. she bent down attaching her forehead to mine, we closed our eyes just being in the moment. "Thank you", I said keeping my hand on hers which rested on my nape. she tried to move her head. "No don't, just stay like this, please", I said keeping my hand on her nape and pulling her back.

After being like this for a while I heard Leela clear her throat making us apart, yeah we weren't in a very apparent position considering the bond between us. She sat on me with her legs on either side of my thighs, we had our arms on each other. Leela had her hand folded brow raised leg tapping the floor. It's like we are some teenagers caught by their parents when doing not-so-innocent things. we are adults just stop giving us those looks. As if it's not enough we had a new figure behind Leela that we didn't notice till now, Ram.

"We have to talk", saying Leela dragged Adaa along with her.

I and Ram sat on the balcony. "What the are you doing Vishrut?", he asked in a very calm tone." I just needed a moment for myself but then she came and hugged me, I didn't want to let it go. That's it", I said not quite understanding why I did that. "It happens, don't think of it much, things go the way they have to", he said wrapping his hand around my shoulders side-hugging me. "Let's go", I said getting up.
