Vishrut POV
We are standing on our reception stage, decorated in white roses. She was adamant about going with Lillies but the decorators denied it as they would lose their freshness quickly. And even at our reception apart from going for something fancy, she opted for a traditional look, a red saree with antic gold jewelry, her hair open with jasmine adorning them, my outfit matched her jewelry.
"Congratulations. Finally!!", Vikram shook hands with us and we grinned.
"Unofficial invitations, but I am getting married by the end of this month. You should definitely attend.", it just had been two days since he took his mother forcefully from the proposal, giving quick apologies to everyone.
"How is the lucky girl?", Adaa asked her eyes shining with happiness. According to her, Vikram deserves a lot more than what he thinks.
"You will know.", giving us a quick hug he left."My back is going numb. How many are left..?" she said the moment he left. I slid my palm on her back slowly pressing my fingers on her back.
"Ahh", a sign of contentment left her mouth. I turned to face the camera after kissing her temple which made her cheeks pink with blush. One after the other everyone came forward to click pictures. It was 10:30 by the time it was completed and we went to eat.Like yesterday we slept separately, sleeping separately is not my cup of tea. I want to sleep with her in my arms, inhaling her natural scent, kissing her neck, hearing her voice, the music of her laughs. Arg I miss her, but as per customs, we should sleep separately till our wedding night which is tomorrow.
But me being me silently went to the room where Adaa was sleeping and called her. she picked up the call on the first ring.
"Open the door and come out", I whispered to which she said hmm and ended the call. The door opened with a clicking noise.
"what are you doing here? aren't you tired? go sleep", her small fists rubbed her lids trying to rub off the sleep.
"How is your back pain?", I asked hugging her.
"It's still there, I think it would be gone by morning.", her voice turned husky, and her lips near my earlobe which in turn made blood rush to my groin."Let's give you some massage", I made her stand on my feet and walk towards the bed.
"But what would Mom think if she sees us?" she lay on the bed on her stomach.
"Relax your little brain cupcake", I lift her nightsuit shirt up a little to get access to the back.Taking a small quantity of move, I started to rub on her lower back, "Hmm", she moaned.
"Vishu", she called,
"hmm", I hummed. She urged me to come close. On moving close she pecked my lips which is of course turned into a sloppy kiss by me.
"I love you", she said pulling back. I hummed.
"Why aren't you saying it back?", she whined, I didn't respond even after that.
"Hey", she sat up straight and I was at the edge of the bed.
"Did I do something?", her eyes turned watery. At that moment she seemed so innocent that my heart just skipped a beat. Not wanting to tease her more I hugged her
"I Love you. Now stop crying", I said and kissed her forehead."I was just pulling your leg.", I chuckled and she beat my chest with her little fists.
"Now sleep, we have to wake up early tomorrow, take the blessings at kuldevi mandir and at last our most awaited wedding night," I said laying on the bed beside her.
"You shouldn't sleep here. Go to your room", she pushed me with her finger.
"let's make you sleep and I will go", with a smile she hugged me as I rubbed her hair."You and Veer go in one car, and we all will come in another car," my mom said as we stood near cars with all the things that are essential for pooja. Adaa wore a white saree with blue booties all over it, which matched my kurta. Her hair is left free as it is still wet, and she looks extravagant, with a nuptial chain around her neck and vermillion on her forehead.
The feeling of pride and love spread the more I watched her. She always smiles no matter how tiring the day went, never vents her irritation on anyone other than me, is always ready to take responsibility, respect she has for elders, and patience while dealing with them, the way she treats children with care.
