Adaa POV
As soon as he proposed the idea of roaming around I jumped like a child who got his favourite chocolate with excitement in my eyes. I love roaming around as much as I love to stay home and do nothing.
I decided to wear something traditional as we are going to a palace. My eyes landed on a pista-green kurti. so I decided to style it with a pair of gold jhumkas, my hair tied in a Dutch braid with the baby hair falling on my face and I completed my look with a bindi adoring my forehead and a pair of cut shoes.
My eyes fell on the mark right below my ear lobe near the junction of my neck and body. My hand stopped adjusting the dupatta and moved towards the mark. It reminded me yesterday, was different from what I usually felt. It felt so right. We felt so right for each other, to each other. Yesterday felt like pieces falling into place completing the puzzle.
A hiss left my mouth when I touched it with a little force unknowingly being deep in thought. The knock on the door made me realise that we need to head out now. I quickly made my way to the door after a quick check in the mirror.
He stands at the door with his scooty keys right in front of my face and his body leaning on the wall beside him. "Shall we?", He asked raising an eyebrow. "Yes" I said beaming with happiness and running right beside him.
The people who live in Hyderabad have to live half of their lives in traffic and on roads. It's been 15 minutes we were stuck in traffic and now we are moving at the speed of a tortoise. If it continues like this I will faint for sure. I took my dupatta and covered my head to protect myself from the pollution.
After a good half an hour, we reached the palace. placing the scooty in the parking lot and taking a ticket we made into the palace. My eyes scan every single detail of the outside of the palace. This is so beautiful. The palace is surrounded by trees and greenery, a cool breeze hits my sweaty skin making me humm in containment. This is much-needed air.
As an interior, my eyes would surely search for something to learn or correct. We sat on a bench under a tree facing the palace. "Have them", he said forwarding a bottle full of coconut water. I was so excited to even know that he bought coconut water, stupid Adaa. I scolded myself before taking the bottle and giving him a big grin.
"You are the best", I said with my teeth full on display. Wait why am I behaving all giddy giddy from yesterday, Argg Adaa no. What does he think of me if I behave like a kid but in a grown-up body?
"Stop working up that pretty brain of yours and drink. I like you no matter how you behave.", Did I say that out loud, then how could he answer the exacting thing that playing in my head, my eyes widened in shock.
"No, you didn't, I just figured it out. Don't think about it that much now", Yeah I am behaving like a private investigator who had to know the reason behind the crime along with the criminal.
"Why did you bring me this?", I asked showing the coconut.
"You look like you are about to fall if you don't get something in your system." my eyes met with pure concern in his eyes.
"That was true.", I took the last sip and continued "Let's go inside. Queen wants to see the palace around." He laughed as I acted as a Queen changing my voice.
