Vishrut POV

The tension I was feeling, the nervousness, the anxiety, the high-speed blood pressure, and the cold sweat that prickled down my back vanished when she nodded her head positively leaving me with a feeling of happiness, relief, peace, and warmth of love.

All the efforts that I had made in convincing their parents, and decorating this paid off just by her nod. My eyes glistened with moist as I slipped the ring onto her ring finger, and snuggled into her warmth.

We all had our dinner full of talks, all of them expressing their joy, how much they wanted us to be together, how we fit each other like a missing piece of the puzzle.
"He used to stick around her when they were kids and used to tell me 'Maa, I will marry Adaa, so that she can always stay with us, and we both will play.'", my mom said, and I bent my head to hide my embarrassing face.

"she is no saint too, I grew up listening to my sister's story like how kids listen to Ramanya and Mahabharat. Vishu did that, Vishu did this, Vishu is a good boy, blah blah blah", Adaa glared at Rohan and made him stuff a big bite in his mouth. I raised my eyebrow at her to which in return she blew a small kiss that made my heart flutter and skip a beat.

With a stupid grin playing on my lips I completed my dinner. the whole dinner felt like chaos, but the sweet one, that would melt your heart, fill you with love and affection, and leave you wanting more of such chaotic peace.

As tomorrow is the wedding we left early, as soon as we finished the dinner. Bidding her a bye is hard but the thought that from tomorrow we are going together, made me all excited. My phone pinged with her notification as soon as I entered the room.

It was her hugging a pillow that I used yesterday when she used me as her pillow. A smile formed on my lips instantly as I saw the message below it, 'I miss you already, It reminds me of yesterday'.

"your soft skin marked with my hand prints, your slender neck filled with my bite, your bed smelling like us. Surely they would remind us, they scream us." I sent lying on the bed.
"stop your pervert thoughts, we have to wake up early tomorrow.", I chuckled at her replay and sent
"Just tell me that you are getting bothered down there.".
"No, I am not. Maybe, you are feeling hard, that's why your brain thinking all the salacious thoughts." before I could reply my mom knocked on the door saying.
"Sleep, it's your wedding tomorrow.", I think I will have to learn, 'how to be a detective like Mom'

Quickly typing a good night text with I Love you, I waited for a response which barely took a second, and kept my phone aside.

All the teaching I have said to Ram, he is repeating them again for me. Now I understand why people get nervous at their wedding. Whenever I see someone crying with joy, I used to think 'What is there a reason to cry? you're just getting married.' But now I think I am going to cry.

"Let's go, it's the time", Ram and I went to the mandap (the stage where marriage takes place). The whole temple is filled with guests, elders, friends, and cousins. This is my wedding and everyone here is going to bless us for a good life, good fortune, and a life-long journey. No one understands the gravity of the wedding and rituals unless it's their wedding.

The priest started the holy mantras as I sat in the place designated to me, and continued with whatever the priest was saying.
"Call the bride", the priest guested to Adaa's mom to which she nodded and moved to Adaa's room.

She is here, straight in front of me, in the saree that I have selected for her that day. She looked breathtaking, her glow making the whole area lit up, the way she was walking with her veil on her head while her eyes watched me from the veil. She looks divine like goddess Lakshmi. my Lakshmi of joy.
