YLLEZSTACY POV.

"Wala.."

"Wala rin dito!"

"Napíste na, palagi na lang tayong palpak!"

Ang naririnig ko sa mga tao na nasa ibabaw lang namin, napahigpit ang kapit ko kay Zaldeo nang kinagat nito ang dila ko.

Tinignan ko ito ng masama. Anong ginagawa nito?! Napatingin ako sa ibabaw at nakitang nawala na ang mga tao roon at ang ingay ay mabilis akong kumawala kay Zaldeo.

Nang maka-ahon ako sa malamig na sapa ay parang nakaramdam ako ng takot sa tubig.
The world above seems distant, muffled. All I can hear is the gentle rush of the water and the pounding of my own heart.

Naramdaman ko ang pag-ahon ni Zaldeo, nakatayo na ito sa likuran ko a familiar energy that sends a jolt of anticipation through me.

It's him.

Zaldeo.

Napalingon ako rito at nakaramdam ako lalo ng kaba when his eyes meet mine, mirroring the depth of the river we're submerged in.

His gaze is a strange mix of the ruthless CEO and the dangerous mafia boss, yet in this moment, there's a softness there that I've never seen before.

"B-Babalik na ako sa Penthouse mo S-Sir.." nauutal kong wika but he moves closer, his movements fluid like the water around us.

"What if I weren't here? You might have been in trouble, so whatever happened earlier, it was just my way of helping you." malamig na usal nito.

But why I feel disappointed? Umayos ka Yllezstacy!

"Is that your first kiss?" anito.

Mabilis akong umiling. "N-No.." sagot ko, ayokong malaman nito na first kiss ko iyon dahil ayokong malaman nito, ewan ko rin sa sarili ko.

Ang tindig nito ay nakakakaba na. Ang titig na pailalim kung makatingin. His perfect jaw and pointed nose.

I can feel the heat radiating off him, a stark contrast to the chill of the river.

Lumapit ito sa akin, napasinghap ako when his hand reaches out, gently brushing away a strand of hair that's floating around my face.

His touch sends a shiver down my spine, not from the cold, but from the electricity that sparks between us. Napayuko ito at lumapit ang mukha sa mukha ko.

"You sure? I am not your first kiss?" he said sexily. Nanlalambot ang tuhod ko dahil para akong nalulunod sa titig nito, he's leaning in, his eyes never leaving mine.

"Yes, why you ask?" Matapang kong sagot para hindi nito mahalata.

I can't read what is on his mind, "Then prove it," anito.

Hindi ako nakapag-react agad dahil hinigit nito ang bewang ko at mabilis na naglapat ang labi namin sa isa't isa. I feel the pressure of his lips against mine, gentle yet insistent.

Bakit niya ako hinahalikan? Nababaliw na ba siya?!

Nakita ko na lang ang sarili ko gasping for air, not from the lack of oxygen, but from the intensity of the emotions coursing through me.

He gives me a smirk, the confident, cocky smirk of a man who's used to getting what he wants. But there's also a hint of tenderness there, a softness that he reserves only for me.
