TW: mentions of stalking, Nameless

"[Y/N]!" I heard one of my friends/coworkers say. "Yeah?" I questioned. "We caught Nameless!" "Wait, really?" "Yeah. But they won't talk. Do you think you could try to help us." I nodded. "What are you trying to get them to say?" I asked. "We're trying to find out how they've been able to do all of the things they've done, and how they've managed to hide from us for so long." They replied. "Alright. Lead the way." I said.

My friend lead me to a door. "They're in here. Be careful. We still don't know what they're capable of." They said. "I'll be fine." I said before walking into the room the door lead to. The room was almost empty, with only a table and two chairs in it (so an interrogation room). In one of the chairs, there was a person sitting. They had black, messy hair, red eyes, and light skin, and their hands were handcuffed to the table. They stared at me as I walked in and sat down in front of them. "So you're Nameless?" I asked. They nodded.

"I'm sure you already know why I'm here." I said. "Because they couldn't get me to admit anything, so they had to ask for help from someone who isn't a part of the case." They said. "And how do you know I'm not part of this case?" I asked. "They needed everyone who's in this case to catch me. You weren't there." They replied. "Fair point." I said. "Anyways, let's start. How exactly have you been able to hide from the police for so long?" They looked at be with a bored expression.

"At least try different methods. It's not like just asking the same questions over and over will help." They said. "It might if I bore you enough." I replied. "I have a lot more patience than you think. And even if you did somehow bore me enough, do you really think that would be a good idea?" I was silent for a few seconds before shaking my head. "No. Probably not." I said. "Exactly. So if you really want me to say anything, don't use the same methods you use for those who can't shut up." "And how do you know what methods I use for those criminals?" I joked.

I felt a chill run down my spine as I saw Nameless grin. A small chuckle came from them before they started to talk again. "I've been watching you for a while, [Y/N]" They said. I stared at them for a few seconds. "What do you mean by that?" I questioned. "I meant exactly what I said. You have a stalker, and that stalker is me." They answered, standing up from the chair leaning a bit forwards because of them being handcuffed to the table. "Are you trying to intimidate me?" I asked. "Good question. Am I?" They said before breaking the handcuffs. "Or am I not."

My eyes widened, and I quickly stood up from the chair. I ran to the door, but just before I could open it, Nameless grabbed me, and pulled me away from it. "Nuh uh. You ain't leaving yet." They said as they dragged me back to my chair. "Sit." They said. I carefully sat down on the chair, and when I was sat, I felt something around my wrist. I looked down to see that Nameless had handcuffed me to the chair. They sat down on their chair. "Do your job." They said. "You're not leaving until you've gotten something out of me."

I was quiet for a moment before taking a deep breath. "Was stalking me a method of hiding from the police." I asked. "No, actually. But I did use the same methods." They answered. I thought for a few seconds. "If you were to escape, would you continue stalking me?" I asked. "Yeah." They answered. "Why?" I asked. "I find you quite interesting." They say. "Not necessarily in a bad way." "It'd definitely in a bad way if it was yourself you were talking about." I mumbled. "What was that?" Nameless asked. "Nothing."

"Alright. Continue." They said. "How did you commit those murders?" I asked. "They were stabbed." They answered. "Tell me the truth. The whole truth." I said. "The wounds on the bodies were too big to be from knives, and I've been told that there's evidence that whatever you stabbed them with exploded inside them." Nameless rested their head in their hands. "Oh, yeah. That's true. You know about that." They mumbled. "Even if I did tell you the full truth, you probably wouldn't believe me." "And why is that?" I asked. "Because it's not very believable." They said. "Well, it would still be the only thing we'd have. Believable or not, we don't have much choice other than trusting your words for it." I said. "Alright, fair. I used magic."

What?

"Magic?" I repeated. "Yes. Magic." They said. "Humans can't use magic." I said. "Bold of you to assume I'm 100% human." They replied. "I'm only 50% human." "And the other 50%?" I asked. "It's not very believable either, so I'm just not gonna tell you." They replied. I sighed. "What kind of magic did you use then?" I asked. "Exploding spikes." They answered. "I'm not familiar with that kind of magic." I said. "I'm the only one with it." Nameless said. "Why is that? Are you a new species?" I asked. "I guess you could say that." They said. "But it's more of a new conbination of species rather than a completely new species." "And what combination could give you exploding spikes?" I asked. "Human and god."

"God?" I questioned. "Yes. I'm a demi-god." Nameless replied. "If you're a demi-god, how did you get caught by humans? Wouldn't you be far more powerful than that?" I asked. "Oh, I am. I let them catch me." They answered. "Why?" I asked. "Because I wanted to talk to you in person." They answered. "And how exactly did you know you would talk to me?" I asked. "I just refused to talk to anyone who's in the case. After I got through all of them, it was pure luck that they asked you for help first." They said. "So your plan was to not say anything until you got to talk to me." I asked. "Yup." They replied. "And what are you planning to do after this?" I asked. "Escape."

I was quiet for a few seconds. "What other powers do you have?" I asked. "Manipulation, hallucination manipulation, immortality, and invisibility, that I know of." They answered. "What are you the demi-god of?" I asked. "Insanity." They answered. "Edge lord." I mumbled. "You still don't believe me, do you?" They asked. "No." I answered. They sighed.

"If you really want me to believe that you're a god, then prove it." I said. "How?" They questioned. "I'll get you to maximum security prison. If you can escape without any suspision until you've escaped, I'll believe you. If you can't, I won't. Since you've stalked me, you should already know where I live, and my schedule. You'll know where you can find me when and if you get out." I explain. "How long do I get?" Nameless asked "1 month." I said. They reached a hand out. "Deal." I took their hand and shook it. They then let me go.

I walked out of the room. "What did you find out?" My friend asked. "They've been stalking people too. They're only half human. The other half is unknown to me. They killed their victims by using magic to create exploding spikes. I couldn't find out how they were able to hide from you for so long, but I found out that they are far more dangerous than we realized, and they will most likely try to escape." I informed them. "That's amazing! You never fail to impress me." They said.

Time skip: between 3 and 4 weeks later

I sat in my bed, reading a book. It's almost been a month, and I still haven't heard anything about Nameless yet, except for people talking about them getting caught. I smiled to myself. "Less than one week left." I said to myself. "Seems I really was right about them lying."

I jumped as heard a chuckle from my window. I looked at my window to see Nameless sitting on it. "Think again." They said. I knew for a fact that I locked that window. They climbed inside my room, and sat in front of me on my bed. "So. You believe me now?" They asked. I nodded. "Yeah. It's almost impossible to escape maximum security prison without any suspicion." I said. "And I know that I locked that window." Nameless grinned. "Impressed?" They asked. "Very." I replied.

Suddently, they laid down next to me, covering themself with the blanket. "What the hell are you doing!?" I asked. "Going to bed." They said. "Go to your own bed!" I yelled. "Don't have one." They replied. "Never had one, honestly." "That's just sad." I said. "Well aware. Go to sleep." They said. "I'm not tired." I said before putting my book down, and trying to get out of bed.

Before I could get out of bed, Nameless wrapped their arms around me, and pulled me back to bed. "I don't care. Don't sleep, you die. Sleep." They said. I groaned, and laid down on the bed. Nameless sat up, and pulled the blanket over us both, before wrapping their arms around me again, and starting to cuddle me. "Why are you cuddling me?" I asked. "Mmm... Comfortable." They replied. "You are really weird." I said. Nameless didn't say anything. "You're asleep already?" I asked. No reply.

I sighed. "Well, I doubt I'll get out of this until they wake up, so I guess I'll just sleep." I mumbled to muself before wrapping my arms around Nameless, and slowly falling asleep.
