(Mortal AU! Will accidentally leaves his hoodie at school. Someone brings it to him. I totally didn't steal this from a TikTok.)

~Nico POV~

"Thank you for helping clean up after class." Hestia said.

"No problem, Hestia." I said. "Hm?"

I noticed something at one of the desks. A yellow hoodie? I picked it up and checked the tag. Will Solace.

"Someone forget their sweater?" Hestia asked.

I nodded.

"I had a project with Will not too long ago." I said. "His place is on the way to my dad's house, maybe we could drop it off on the way home?"

"Of course." She replied then smiled. "It's Will's hoodie? The boy you like?"

I blushed.

"Aunt Hestia!" I said.

She laughed and continued cleaning up her desk.

{An Hour And A Half Later}

~Will POV~

I shivered. Where's my hoodie?

I checked my backpack. Books, medkit, pencil case. No hoodie...I checked the closet. Jackets, other hoodies but not the good hoodie. Where did I put it? Did I leave it at school? Dam it! I'll have to get it tomorrow...

"Dinner will be done soon." Mom called.

"Okay." I said.

A knock came from the front door.

"I'll get it." I said.

As I opened the door, I was greeted to a surprising sight. Nico Di Angelo. The emo boy from school. He held out something to me. My hoodie?

"I was helping Ms. Hestia clean up after class and saw you left your hoodie." He said.

He blushed and waited for me to take it. I stood there for a minute, surprised he brought it to me.

"You can keep." I smiled. "It would look good on you."

He stared at me, a look of shock and confusion on his face. His cheeks were red, mine probably weren't any lighter. I can buy another hoodie.

{The Next Morning}

I sat at my desk and noticed Nico already in his seat. He had on the hoodie. It did look good on him. It added a nice pop of color to his otherwise colorless appearance. Nico looked up and blushed. He looked down again and pulled the hood up. Aw...he's so cute.

~Nico POV~

Damit! Damit! Damit! He's looking at me! What do I do?! Does he think I'm weird? Does he want his hoodie back? Did I misunderstand him last night? Did he not actually want me to keep it? Did he want me to throw it out? Should I have thrown it out?

I tugged the hood over my face. It was warm and smelled like hyacinth hand sanitizer. He loves that stuff...my face heated up and my mind blanked. I couldn't focus on the lesson.

"Hoods down during class." Hestia said.

I pulled the hood down, catching a glimpse of Will. He looked to be chuckling. Crap...he thinks I'm weird, doesn't he?

{Some Time Later}

"That's not really your style, Cuz." Jason noted.

"So?" I asked. "I'm...changing it up a bit."

Percy raised an eyebrow.

"Is that even your hoodie?" He asked.

"I'm going to my next class." I said, standing up from the lunch table.

Without another word, I left the lunchroom. They're so nosy...

Someone covered my eyes.

"Who-?" I asked.

Hyacinth hand sanitizer.

"Will?" I asked.

"Yeah! How did you know?" Will asked, moving his hands and popping up beside me.

"Your hand sanitizer." I said.

"You...memorized my hand sanitizer?" He asked.

"It's just very distinct!" I said, panicking a bit. "No one else uses hyacinth scented products."

He smiled at me.

"You're weird." He said.

My heart sank into my stomach.

"Did you need something?" I asked.

"I just wanted to say, you seem to really like my hoodie." Will said.

I blushed.

"It's a good hoodie." I said.

"It looks good on you." He replied.

My heart pounded in my chest. He thinks his hoodie looks good on me? Er...well...it was his hoodie but he gave it to me. Either way, he thinks it looks good on me? I don't think my heart can take this too much longer...

"Want to go out sometime?" Will asked. "I want to get to know you better."

I stopped in my tracks and stared at him. I pointed to myself.

"Yeah, I'm talking to you." He said.

"Yeah." I said. "Certo. Sì. D'accordo. Assolutamente sì."

He tilted his head and smirked.

"I...I'm going to shut up..." I said, pulling the hood of the hoodie up to cover my embarrassment.

An arm wrapped around my shoulders, making any confidence I had left die in an instant.

{Many Years Later}

~Will POV~

Where did it go? I put it on the dresser...

"Whatcha looking for?" Nico asked.

"My button-up, I put it over here- seriously?" I said, turning around.

Nico sipped his coffee. He had on my button-up. I sighed and smiled.

"You're lucky you're so cute, Darling." I said.

He smiled.
